Pros: I've been using Logitech trackball mouse for almost a decade. RF one has awesome battery life. It survived plenty of drops without damage. Smooth and accurate. Using it for gaming and daily PC browsing.
Cons: Poor quality microswitches. That is the only con but the major one.I've bought four of them (the RF one) and ALL ended up with same failure. Usually within 1 to 2 years. This is my last one. Summary: Like many others, I have had the double click/no drag start happening after about 8 months. When I contacted CS, I was given a long list of things to try; everything from clean the thing to using it on another computer.
Pros: Trackball tech is wonderful for the hand Arrangement of the ball and buttons make it intuitive to use
Cons: The battery lasts longer than the buttons Logitech customer service is spotty in dealing with problems
Summary: First one the left button died no receipt so no RMA allowed Bought a second one same problem after 6 months Left click problems. RMA and Logitech replaced it. Replacement developed left button problems and double clicks all the time. Looking for second RMA replacement on this unit as well.
Pros: Unified control long battery life
Cons: POOR RMA procedure Horrible Durability Long term Quality is terrible
Excerpt: Just bought it and am disappointed in its size. Would have liked something physically stronger and larger. Previously had a Microsoft cable, large ball. It was strong and long-term wonderful. Was this M570 designed for a youth or woman? Does not provide the rest and ease of a my previous trackball.
Summary: If you're used to using the calypso (T-RB22), you're going to be disappointed in this product. For some reason, Logitech has determined that their customers didn't need to have the 8 buttons they're used to, and put only 5, of which only three are programmable.
Pros: Wireless trackball
Cons: only 5 buttons rather than the previous product
