Summary: I have always trusted logitech in the past and was very happy with this purchase. A very compact mouse with the micro dongle kept in the mouse. The mouse fits in your hand nicely, but I can imagine it would be to small for someone with large hands. Easy to install. The only downfall was the price, which is why it was given 4*.
Summary: Had one of these before, but after a few years of fairly heavy use, the buttons produced a double bounce every now and then. I have half a dozen other mice on other computers and this one is up there with the best. Decent resolution, works on most surfaces (not as good as the Logitech, anywhere mx), fairly light and good button feel. I also like the fact that the wheel on this mouse still has some resistance (notches) when moved, unlike a lot of the current crop.
Summary: Very quick, just plugin and setup, no drivers for Windows 7+. Have yet to see if the battery life will live up to the advertised specifications but I have no reason to doubt it. It's nice and fast and responsive. I only give it 4 stars because its not quite as good as my G9x - but that cost a lot more. For the price, it's pretty great.
Summary: when this mouse arrived it was the right mouse but the wrong colour. I returned it and asked for the correct one.when it arrived the packet showed it to be red but then opened the contents were still wrong (black). so at this point I gave up and settled for it. Amazon did say sorry for the packaging error and offered a credit on my account. the mouse is however excellent. so in the end a result of sorts.
Summary: This is the wireless mouse i keep coming back to and keep buying more of. Tt's the only wireless mouse i have found that has no lag. Nothing is more annoying than a bewitched cursor stuttering around the screen. For a relatively small mouse its very comfortable and packing two batteries means its a little heavier than its microsoft competitor but obviously lasts longer in-between battery changes (which are years apart even after leaving it on all the time).
Conclusion: The logitech M505 may be expensive than the others in the market but, according to me, the price is perfectlyjustified by its performance. Its very responsive and pointer precision is very good. Its comfortable to hold and very solid and durable.
Summary: It's always a matter of, you get what you pay for. This isn't the cheapest of wireless mice but it's behaving very well! Only negative is that it's a bit picky about what sort of surface it likes to function on. I had to change the glass top to a more slidey table mat. But that's fine. He's worth it!
