Buttons deter after about 1 year

Manuel W., Newegg
18 October 2012
  • Summary: This clearly is a flaw that originates in selecting cheap material and parts. Logitech is a brand that got renown for their quality, looks like the current managers choose short term profits over long term customer satisfaction. I am definitely one customer lost and not recommending them anymore.
  • Pros: Form factor - not as small as classical laptop mice, not as big as classical desktop mice. Just right. Weight - relatively lightweigt. It does not stick, and so even very tiny, precise movements are easy. Battery capacity - don't even remember when I last changed the battery. Would estimate is ea...
  • Cons: I would have been happy ever after, but then.... After about a year, the buttons deter. You click them once, and the button registers a double click. You cannot imagine how annoying it is if you - click on a window title once to bring it into the foreground and it maximizes - drag a window on the...

Tracking issues

Anonymous, Newegg
2 July 2011
  • Pros: Wireless on same receiver as my keyboard
  • Cons: Doesn't track as well as my 7-year old Logitech MX900 basic optical mouse that the left click finally wore out on. I thought in the age of optical mice, the physical buttons wearing out was about the only thing that could do them in...but this one doesn't register slow or slight movement on the s...

Still looking for the right one

Jonathan M., Newegg
13 May 2011
  • Summary: So far, in the past month alone, I have bought 5 Logitech peripherals and, except for the G500 Gaming Mouse, they've all been disappointing. I had expected more.
  • Pros: Wireless, compact, Unifying Nano Receiver, streamlined. The red stripes matches my keyboard's red backplate, for whatever that's worth.
  • Cons: The tapered scroll wheel acts like a pressure point on my fingertip, and causes pain after a while. Middle click action is very stiff. If you use middle-click as much as I do, you'll soon find yourself fatigued. The h*ump (the unaccented word is deemed "improper" by Newegg) on the mouse (where th...

Not for Descktops

Rudolf S., Newegg
17 September 2010
  • Summary: I had one of those for a few months now and loved it on my notebook. I recently got myself a new desktop and thought I'll go with the same mouse since it served me well on the notebook. Bad Idea.
  • Pros: Very precise, long battery life. Small receiver.
  • Cons: Useful range is about a foot or 2. Glide stickers on the underside peel off in about a month.

Not a very good mouse

Jeremy B., Newegg
24 May 2010
  • Summary: This is strictly a backup or portable laptop mouse. In the portable mouse category, there are better options still. I do not recommend this mouse to anyone unless you NEED the unifying receiver.
  • Pros: For some, the small size of this mouse will be great. I urge you to go see this mouse in person before ordering it, it is MUCH smaller than the screenshots lead on. The unified Logitech receiver is great.
  • Cons: Too small and uncomfortable to be used as an everyday desktop mouse. I have very small hands and even I think this mouse is uncomfortable. I can't imagine how awful it would be for anyone with large hands; virtually unusable.

Unsatisfied

Vasile C., Newegg
25 April 2010
  • Summary: If you have a laptop, and do not intend on moving away from it more than 6ft, than this mouse is ideal for you. I was looking for agaming mouse, and this one is unsuitable for my needs.
  • Pros: The only pros I would say is that the receiver it came with is ultra small and compact.
  • Cons: The mouse is small, meaning it is indeed a laptop mouse, and on the picture looks otherwise. I moved 8 feet away from the computer and it started freezing up like crazy, so it was impossible to play. I changed the batteries, but the problem persisted.

Uninspiring Logitech

danielcla..., Ciao
17 October 2015
  • Excerpt: First impressions The Logitech brand is probably one of the more popular ones when it comes to computer mice and accessories. I have owned a number of Logitech mice over the years and one that has had little use but it in my small collection is the Logitech M505.
  • Pros: Reliable, good quality, left to right scroll .
  • Cons: Expensive for what is essentially a basic mouse .

sloppy inaccurate cursor movement

J. Hartley "tartley", Amazon
21 April 2012
  • Summary: Impressed by the reviews, I bought two (for home and work) and I've found that the accuracy of the cursor movement is significantly affected by how close the sensor is to the mouse. 12 inches is less accurate than six. Even when very close, this mouse is produces imprecise cursor movements.

Hamburgerin, Amazon
