  • Summary: Don't buy this mouse if you have large hands you will get cramps if you use it for too long.
  • Pros: Works well and has long battery life
  • Cons: A little uncomfortable due to its ambidextrous design. Also, it is a little small for my large hands.

Perfect mouse, after a minor adjustment

Anonymous, Newegg
6 April 2009
  • Summary: I got this mouse to replace an old mouse i had that was getting worn out so much that the color was faded from silver to the black under it. I found this and at first i was hesitant of wireless because of the stories i heard, such as choppy performance and heavy battery usage.
  • Pros: This is an exceptional mouse. Better then i expected it to be. Good solid feel, does not feel cheap. The weight is well balanced, the batteries are placed to keep the mouse overall balanced. Works without mousepad or on almost any surface. Comes with a usb extension with a receiver holder so you ...
  • Cons: The only con was the annoying back and forward buttons on the side. After downloading Setpoint from logitech I promptly disabled both side buttons making the mouse much more enjoyable to use. Setpoint also gives you the options of changing the function of the side buttons but the buttons are so e...

  • Summary: I've had this mouse for a few months now, and I still like it. However, there does seem to be some issues with the Setpoint software. For some reason, after startup, I have to restart the Setpoint application and click "ok" under the settings for the right sensitivity to kick in.
  • Pros: Still a great mouse.
  • Cons: Software issues.

Great mouse.

Gary B., Newegg

  • Summary: I love Logitech's products. They've always worked well for me, and have been very reliable. I'll continue to buy their products for years to come.
  • Pros: The mouse has a great stylish design. Fit's my hand fairly naturally, and the grip is comfortable. It's very nice not seeing that blaring red laser for once like my old optical mouse. The blue on the mouse is actually a deep navy blue, as others suggested, which is perfectly fine with me! I love ...
  • Cons: I think the price was just a bit high.. The downloadable software for the mouse is pretty wonky.. It made the scrollwheel button do something funny that messed up its actions in some of my games. You really don't need the software. Windows has mouse drivers that work perfectly.

User Review

Phillip R., Newegg

  • Summary: Overally this is a pretty good mouse. It's just a little bit smaller than I like, but, to be fair, I have large hands. The right side ("forward") button is also a bit awkward to push; I would have liked this mouse a lot more if the forward/back buttons were both on the left side.
  • Pros: Very precise & responsive; great battery life; looks good; good construction quality.
  • Cons: The right-side button is a bit hard to press if you're a right-hander.

Good Full-Sized Mouse for Mobile Users

Anonymous, Newegg
18 November 2008
  • Summary: I bought this mouse out of a necessity for a full-sized mouse to use with my netbook and so my carpal tunnel doesn't get worse. It's a great addition and is much better than a wired mouse. I can easily palm the whole mouse.
  • Pros: 1) It's a dark navy blue with black (unlike the photo's blue) 2) Two side buttons 3) Tilt scroll wheel 4) Excellent battery life with two AA alkaline batteries 5) 2.4 GHz wireless 6) Small and slim USB wireless dongle/receiver
  • Cons: 1) The mouse (with batteries) are back-end heavy 2) The shell feels very plasticky and does creak a bit if you squeeze the sizes. Gives me the impression I might crush the mouse with too much pressure. 3) Unlike my G7, the LX8 goes to sleep and requires you to click a button in order to bring it ...

Precise and Ready to go

Anonymous, Newegg
4 November 2008
  • Summary: Playing my FPS games, this mouse is sufficient for me, it keeps up especially when I have to do a quick jerk moves in game..
  • Pros: Precise movements, Windows Vista was able to load up driver and run instantly as soon you plug in the USB receiver.. The actual software to control button functions has to be downloaded from Logitech's web site since the package does not come with a CD with software just the Installation manual etc.
  • Cons: None, It does what it says it do..

Great Mouse overall. Gamers be cautious.

  • Summary: I didn't get this from newegg since there was a nice rebate deal locally, but this is a great mouse for anyone who isn't playing fast paced first person shooters. Coming from a 5-button microsoft intellimouse, this had a similar design and I picked it up with little hassle in terms of ergonomics.
  • Pros: - This mouse is comfortable, accurate, and wireless (two AA batteries). It has a sturdy feel and just enough buttons for me. Pretty much plug and play. The software was needed for me to change some of the acceleration settings and the button binds, but the mouse worked right after adding batterie...
  • Cons: - Being wireless, I read that the frequency is 2.0 GHz, so if you like to play first person shooters on low sensitivity(played at 2.75 sensitivity on a 800 dpi optical), it could be a problem. After testing this mouse with Counter Strike, it doesn't pick up rapid movements, for example, if I were...
