  • Summary: Yes, it's cordless, but a USB port is still required. Also, although I suspect there is a way to control how quickly and how far the pointer moves, I haven't discovered it. As it came to me, the pointer moves too quickly and too far, though I am gett...

"First Generation" style cordless optical mouse

Michael W. Johnson, Amazon
12 October 2008
  • Summary: Good, solid, old-school style cordless optical mouse. Nice shape, good movement. Not quite as precise as mice costing 3x as much, but.... its 1/3 the price. Large receiver, push button connections (hence "old school"), but... connection solidly maintained, good on batteries so far.

Rather loud clicking scroll wheel

Kevin Murphy, Amazon
10 October 2008
  • Summary: Fine as a mouse but a VERY LOUD click click click as you use the scroll wheel. Too loud to for me to become used to. YMMV. I was looking to replace my dying (switch contact failing) Logitech M-RM67A mouse, which was wonderful except for a tendency to eat batteries.

26 Year Logitech Experience

Bicycling Bob, Amazon
7 October 2008
  • Summary: NOTE: I don't believe anyone should give a review until the item has been used about a year ( Unless the item stops working in less than that time.) I was reluctant to do this but here goes. From the beginning of my computer experience 1989 to 2007 I only used Logetech mice.
