Summary: I have nothing but the highest compliments to give for this mouse. It has proven very trustworthy after owning for more than half a decade.
Pros: Precise and durable - haven't had any issues with it whatsoever for 5 years and counting.
Cons: Dirt collects at the bottom of the scroll wheel over the years. It required me to dismantle part of the mouse to clean out all the grime. The fiber cord also starts to fray near the mouse, but again, this is after 5 years of continuous and very heavy use.
Pros: This is a very customizable and responsive mouse. Although I find the mouse to be a bit flat for my hands, that is a matter of preferance and I will not take an egg for that. It has just enough buttons for all my MMO uses, but not so many that it seems rediculous for any other uses.
Cons: The major thing working against this mouse is the chord. The chord is terrible. It frays and binds and gets twisted up. This is the sole reason I am now looking for a new mouse. I almost considered taking away 2 eggs.
Summary: Logitech, what are you thinking?!? There is not a thing wrong with a soft, flexible, vinyl jacketed cord. Flexible is good, as there is little resistance on mouse movement. It's frustrating to need that precision motion only to meet extra resistance at the end.
Pros: Oodles of features. Quality construction. 3 year warranty. Precise. Comfortable. Very adjustable.
Summary: had a g5 before this that i replaced (gave to gf) bc the finish was coming off after about 1 1/2 yrs of use (it's still really good in terms usability.. i justed wanted an excuse to get this one here)
Pros: a "high" end gaming mouse that you pay for.. nice scrolling option.. on the fly dpi changing is pretty easy..
Cons: not as comfortable as I thought it would be coming from a g5.. that is truly the best i have owned.. had raz3r but that thing blowed.. get a mx518/g5/g500/g7.. wont be disappointed.. hard to click sideways (using scroll wheel).. "forward" button is kind of hard to get at.. clicking middle button ...
Summary: Having owned this mouse for well over 1.5 years, I can honestly say it is the worst mouse I have ever owned. Before this, I had an MX510 and loved it until it died on me. I highly regret purchasing this mouse over another MX510 as this thing is nothing but junk.
Pros: - Two thumb buttons
Cons: - Finish started peeling off after a month - Left clicking sometimes results in double clicking - Worst grip ever. The only part of my hand that touches it are my fingers. The grip is just too small. My pinky drags on the mouse pad. Even if I had tiny hands, I'm sure I'd still be grabbing it in a...
Summary: Unless you hold the mouse like a claw, this has got to be one of the worse mice (mouses) to use. Ignoring the ugly aesthetics (that must of been designed by a 14 year old), it will not feel right for the majority of right-handed users.
Pros: Great tracking, okay amount of buttons, saves different profiles internally, battery status, customized weights
Pros: This mouse has an amazing feel and comfort, especially with the ability to change the grips and add wieght to it. The cable is sturdy and a good length, the look is great as well. It really turns your computer station into a new gaming station. The sensitivity settings are great. And the two side...
Cons: Non mac compatible. Yet it works with a mac. The disk will not so you cannot change the colors. But not a biggie really.
