Logitech G602 Gaming Mouse review: made me ambidextrous
8 March 2014
Conclusion: Logitech’s G620 Gaming Mouse is amazing for both business and games alike. It’s so comfortable that it’s practically ambidextrous in nature, despite being a right-handed device. It’s also only R800, which is inexpensive for a gaming mouse that works this well. Logitech’s made a serious play for the best casual to pro gaming device made in 2013.
Summary: The Logitech G602 is a big step forward for gaming mice. The extremely comfortable design, wireless performance that doesn’t require users to sacrifice functionality, and insane battery life make the G602 the perfect gaming companion. In all honesty, the wireless performance of the G602 is something you have to experience to truly appreciate it.
Conclusion: Logitech has always been amongst my favorite manufacturers and i really get the why when i use the G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse. Is it the perfect wireless mouse? Certainly not and although Logitech has shown time after time that they have the ability to easily manufacture the best wireless mouse suited for gaming they just haven't done that yet.
Pros: - Build Quality, - Ergonomic Design, - Very Accurate Tracking (Delta Zero LED Sensor), - Good Performance (2500DPI/20G/80IPS), - 11 Programmable Buttons, - 2 Different Power Modes (Performance:250h/Endurance:1440h), - Thumb Rest, - Control Panel
Cons: - Price (For Some), - Uses Regular AA Batteries
Conclusion: The Logitech G602's ability to switch modes to conserve battery power lets it serve double duty as a great mouse for the laptop bag, but the mouse is almost an ideal model for everyday wireless gaming and normal computing needs without switching modes. The basic scroll wheel feels like a major step back, especially at this price point, but the wheel will get the job done.

Excerpt: I’ve been a big fan of Logitech products for more than ten years now; everything from their keyboards and mice to their steering wheels and audio products. I’m typing this review on a G510 keyboard using a G700 mouse and in the other room on my game system you’ll find a G710 keyboard and a shiny new Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse that I have been testing vigorously for the past several weeks for this review.
Excerpt: Open everything up, and this is what you will get. Basically, you will receive the wireless mouse, receiver, USB receiver extension cable and setup guide. I find the mouse sized just about right, very suitable if you have a large palm size. J The ergonomic design of the mouse is such that, it suits palm-grip type perfectly. There is a rather large rest area for your thumb, further making the grip effortless.
