Summary: I love this mouse when it works, unfortunately that window of opportunity isn't terribly long. I ordered my first mouse in November 2012. The right-click button stopped working in any reliable fashion. After jumping through hoops and raising all hell with Logitech, they finally honored the warranty and shipped a new one (October 2013). Now the buttons are failing again on the new version.
Summary: Got this mouse for mmo gaming, first thing I noticed is that this thing is ridiculously bulky. I have to reach with my thumb in order to click the first (g9, g10, g11) 3 keys on the side, and the mouse itself is very uncomfortable. You have to elevate your wrist above the base of the mouse in order to grip it properly and obviously that is not going to work for extended periods of time.
Excerpt: 2 basic flaws in this mouse. 1: Thumb grip. You always need an area for your thumb to grip the mouse, not on the buttons. 2: Change side lights on the mouse?? Right..and why would you want to waste 2 buttons on changing colours??seriously! Also you use thumb and index finger for activation. The index finger buttons would have to be around the mouse wheel and there isnt much going on there on this mouse.
Excerpt: Where is the Mac version of the software why cant i use this on my mac i bought this for use with World of Warcraft which is an MMO to replace my Naga and to my avail it was not compatible with my Mac i am disappointed as this mouse for all intents and purposes is far superior to the naga in every way yet i cant use it what so ever im not satisfied and or happy with the lack of compatibility
Summary: I have a MacBook Pro and been using the Razer Naga on it for a year. Switched to this one because of Logitech's excellent reputation. It worked okayish for about two days, before shutting down my USB ports each time it was plugged in. Online search revealed I wasn't the only one with the problem and the only solution was an externally powered USB port, which is a joke for a mouse. We then tried it on my boyfriend's Windows machine, which promptly froze up.
Summary: Purchased for MMO- went for logitech because of previous good experience with logitech products. However build quality is poor and configuration has some frustrating limitations that will obstruct how I want to use it (eq, middle button is button 2 not 3 and cannot be reconfigured like the other buttons). A waste of my money and I'm back to look for another mouse after 1 day.
Summary: The Mouse came as usual but when i opened it and tried to use it i noticed straight away the left click would not press down , I Expect a full refund !, Will order another one tho and hopefully it doesn't come broken , not happy at all !
