Buggy Mouse

AN D., Newegg
  • Summary: For normal games this mouse is fine, for games that involve rapid clicking get something else. I should have done more research on this mouse before buying it.
  • Pros: Lots of versatility, lots of buttons to configure, for normal games that do not involve intense clicking it should work fine. If it involves rapid fire clicking this mouse is not for you.
  • Cons: Mouse is really buggy. I bought this mouse so I could play league of legends and have some hotkeys to play with to make things easier. After playing a little while I realize that there is a bug with this mouse. Everyone few minutes or so it would randomly put by cursor somewhere else on the scree...

Absolutely in love

Christopher H., Newegg
  • Summary: Overall it's a great mouse for the price and even better when comboed with the Logitec G240 mousepad ($30 for me!) and I have yet to have any complaints in the few months I've had it. I say give it a shot, I don't think you'll be dissapointed
  • Pros: Never thought I would use all 20 buttons (more if G-Shift button is used) but I somehow have found a way to make every button useful. The mouse is much bigger than expected, feeling taller than any other mouse I have used in the past and feeling awkward on the palms, but after having it for some ...
  • Cons: Every now and then the mouse would randomly shoot toward the top of the screen when I was playing games, but after moving it to a new computer it has yet to do so. Something to keep an eye out for, but can't complain since it's stopped.

Not for everyone

Ryan S., Newegg
30 June 2015
  • Summary: I have small hands and still found myself mashing more than a single thumb button. Would prob be very difficult for people with large hands which makes no sense because it feels designed for people with large hands due to how incredibly wide it is.
  • Pros: More buttons than you can ever possibly need. Im not kidding you have 16 buttons to bind not including the 3 regular mouse clicks and the G-Shift key, which goes to 35 when you hold the G-Shift key down. The logitech software for the most part is solid. It's easy enough to set up profiles or macr...
  • Cons: TOO WIDE! The third flat click button adds a VERY large amount of real estate to the top of the mouse. This makes it very uncomfortable for various reasons, and makes misclicks more common than you would like. The zillion buttons are nice but I found myself accidentally pressing the thumb buttons...

Firmware Seems OK

James B., Newegg
20 June 2015
  • Summary: I ordered as part of the shell shocker and l received one with the sticker 910-002871. I ran the 77.02.17 firmware upgrade and it told me the mouse was up to date. I have not noticed any lag issues with mine.
  • Pros: Lots of programmable buttons Lots of colors
  • Cons: It is kind of big, and I am adjusting to it as it is a little uncomfortable. So the jury is still out if this will be a long term replacement for me.

Great All Purpose Mouse

Manoj K., Newegg
20 June 2015
  • Summary: Try not to use this mouse near things that can snag the braiding, I wish I could completely take off the brading as its annoying when stray frays touch me; nevertheless, this mouse is still holding up after 2 years of heavy use.
  • Pros: - On board memory to keep things synced across computers without need for logitech software - Very durable
  • Cons: - You can't store macros without installing the logitech software on your computer, not a deal breaker, but I would rather keep the number of programs that need to be running down. - The braiding frays over time, I had this mouse for about 2 years now and the braiding has come off in one section ...

Buyer Beware.

Jonathon M., Newegg
18 June 2015
  • Summary: As another reviewer pointed out, it does appear that Newegg was clearing out older stock. For the price I paid, this is an okay backup mouse for when I inevitably smash my Naga.
  • Pros: Pretty colors, multitude of buttons.
  • Cons: For a shell shocker, I took a chance. This mouse is NOT model 910-002871, this is actually a nearly 4 year old 810-002851. The firmware on this model CAN NOT be updated to repair the sensor lag issue. Used Newegg chat to discuss an RMA/exchange but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to get the sa...

Mouse is not worth it

Nathan B., Newegg
18 June 2015
  • Summary: I've had it for a year and a half or so. It seemed alright at first. But the more time goes on the more problems I have with it. It appears to be an inferior product. And because of the stress this(and another Logitech item) has caused me, I will no longer purchase anything from them.
  • Pros: Side buttons are awesome(when they work the way you want).
  • Cons: Logitech Gaming Software is awful, has potential issues on windows 7 and on. Requires Logitech Gaming Software to be installed in order to even use it(on Win7+). And if you disable have automatic game detection then the mouse dies and won't work until you reset that setting. The menu is not able ...

True Mice

Renato L., Newegg
15 June 2015
  • Summary: I use it for work; I smoke everybody in productivity.
  • Pros: All you can ask for in a gaming mouse. I like the feel, the weight, the design, the price ($40 give/take), the button placement, portability, colors; almost everything!
  • Cons: Not wireless, :o/ no extra Teflon pads, no weight adjustments; yeah, like those are deal breakers ;oP I'm just saying. I have more than 3 of these.

The best one in the price range

Ygor F., Newegg
15 June 2015
  • Summary: I bought this one in Shell Shocker, so i paid US$ 29.99, for a GOOD MOUSE + MOUSE PAD, i think this is a great price!
  • Pros: • A lot of customization options! • Easy to use • Nice grip
  • Cons: • No mouse action on macro options, only if you use Lua Script, not a big deal at all!
