actually older model 810-002851

Sanford R., Newegg
21 May 2015
  • Summary: Even returning the mouse proved difficult. The RMA was initially rejected because the part number on the mouse did not match the part number on the box, which is precisely why the mouse was being returned. (FWIW, the part number on the box, 910-002871, was pasted over an older part number.
  • Pros: irrelevant
  • Cons: While this is advertised as part number 910-002871, and that's how the box was labelled, what was actually inside the box was a G600 with part number 810-002851. I discovered this when I attempted to apply the latest firmware for the G600 and received the message "Firmware version 77.02.12 found....

most comfortable

Glenn S., Newegg
24 April 2015
  • Summary: I am a pretty big guy and it has been hard for me to find a good gaming mouse that I found comfortable. I have owned the RAT MMO7 and a Naga before, but I would always find myself needing a break after a raid to rest my mouse hand.
  • Pros: This is a very comfortable mouse. There are tons of buttons to map, and the G-Shift on the ring finger doubles the mappable buttons you get. The software is well done and allows you to easily and quickly map buttons and write macros. The colors on the buttons are pretty cool, and it helps that yo...
  • Cons: The G-shift (ring finger) is really easy to accidentally hit. And a little bit of nitpicking, I haven't found a way to pick a different color for each and every button.

Lots and lots of buttons!

Jake Porcelli, Amazon
22 April 2015
  • Summary: It may be a bit big for those who were previously using smaller mice, but give it a few days and you will be up and clicking in no time! The mouse is 3.1 in x 4.6 in x 1.9 inches, which is a bit wider than your average mouse.

Great mouse for MMO games.

Dale Parker, Amazon
16 April 2015
  • Summary: I absolutely love this mouse. I used to use a Razer Naga, but went with this one this time because of the extra button for the ring finger. In the past I've always found Razer, though very nice otherwise to be horrible so far as disability and lifespan are concerned.

Double Mouse-Up Issue

Joel M., Newegg
14 April 2015
  • Summary: My experience with this and other Logitech products have convinced me I need to look elsewhere for my technology.
  • Pros: Highly configurable with 19 user buttons, a "G-Shift" button, and a mode cycling button, giving three modes (basically sub-profiles) to each game / application profile. Buttons have firm resistance, have sharper angles, and are less "wiggly" than the Naga Razer. They also are angled and textured ...
  • Cons: A serious bug exists using "Automatic Game Detection" (meaning button presses are handled in software) causing some buttons to send a two mouse up events when you release the button. This causes the computer to treat your click as a double-click or not recognize the click at all. Stopping and res...

Good MMO mouse for large hands

Shaun C., Newegg
11 April 2015
  • Pros: I bought this because of the reviews claiming it was too large. Yes, it's big. For my large hands, it's perfect. Positioning is much more convenient for me than a Razer Naga.
  • Cons: Not for small hands!

Gonna give to my mom and find a new mouse

Bigperm, Amazon
8 April 2015
  • Summary: Giving this a 3 even though I hate it. The reason I hate it is simply because it feels too wide It has a "2nd right click" button that I suppose is meant to function as a modifier for your side buttons. While in theory this sounds nice, it just feels awful.

Mushy Thumb Buttons & Accidental Ringer Finger Clicks

DANNY L., Newegg
20 March 2015
  • Summary: As far as thumb buttons go, the Naga 2014 has a lot of lessons to teach the G600 in terms of tactile feedback, shape and placement. Maybe if I hadn't tried both of them I might have been partial to the G600, but anyone who tries both will surely lean towards the Naga 2014.
  • Pros: + Ability to have custom colors per profile / keymap + Nice coating on the mouse
  • Cons: Bought this along with a Naga 2014 to compare the thumb buttons and what a disapointment. - Thumb buttons are very mushy, barely any tactile feedback. - Thumb buttons are very loose in their sockets, so this makes it hard to feel the distinctive shape of the buttons since as you attempt to feel i...

Rare find!

William B., Newegg
20 March 2015
  • Summary: Spend a little extra time figuring out your button locations for macros, and you'll be thankful in the long run!
  • Pros: I am not a gamer - but I thank Bog every day for the gamers - I get all the 'trickle-down' technology they're responsible for! I buy the last generation's hot video cards for half of what the latest darlings go for, and I get neat toys like this. I recently went from a Logi G11, to a several year...
  • Cons: If you have small hands, or a short fuse, this might not be the mouse for you. It's both large and heavy - and figuring out all the capabilities takes some dedicated time. All in all, easier than learning, say, Python... The shape of the side buttons is perfect for distinguishing buttons by touch...

Not the mouse for me.

Andrew J., Newegg
16 March 2015
  • Summary: I would not recommend this mouse for somebody that has long fingers and a narrow palm, if i could cut off the G-Shift clicker this mouse would be perfect. as it stands however even if i could get used to the hand cramps and severe discomfort, there is no way for my hands to effectively use this...
  • Pros: Sturdy, has some weight to it, texture & Feel is nice.
  • Cons: Its too wide, the clickers are too soft especially the (G-shift) third one. my thumb cant reach the first set of G-keys without setting off the G-shift.
