Great while it lasted

Anonymous, Newegg
14 January 2015
  • Pros: Best mouse I have owned thus far. Great feel. Found my ideal weight. Plenty of buttons. Overall just a great feeling, easy to use/program mouse.
  • Cons: Durability. My right click has started to fail. I am able to click, but the click loses connection - unable to drag windows/files, enlarge windows to a custom size, or even burst fire with weapons in games. I live with my SO who does not use my machine and no pets and I keep very good care of my ...

Good while it lasted

Yuva C., Newegg
29 November 2014
  • Pros: Precise, smooth, adjustable weights. Everything a gaming mouse needs. Infinite scroll is the best.
  • Cons: Right click started acting up after 2 years; makes contact but wont keep it. Still works, but can't game or 3d model with it anymore, and it's advertised as a gaming mouse. Durability seems to be an issue.

Great Mouse - Terrible Software

Samuel P., Newegg
3 November 2014
  • Summary: If you can find it, or have the older install disc for SetPoint 5.2, use that instead - and I would recommend uninstalling the "Logitech Gaming Software 8.x.x".
  • Pros: I've bought two of these - second when the first one broke (dropped one too many times) Good feel Great response All around awesome
  • Cons: IMPORTANT: The current software for it is TERRIBLE. "Logitech Gaming Software" is just awful. Previous versions of the software (SetPoint 5.2) allowed for the default mouse buttons to be used (ie: MouseButton_1, MouseButton_2, MouseButton_3, etc..). It allowed you to set DPI settings for X and Y ...

Great while it lasts

Evan K., Newegg
8 October 2014
  • Summary: I treated this mouse with care. It feels like it was designed to fail at the time the warranty expired. I think it is reasonable to get 5 years or more out of a mouse, particularly an expensive mouse. I wish Logitech would stand behind this product a little more.
  • Pros: This mouse felt awesome and performed very well for the first couple of years I had it. I am a light gamer and this improved gaming, but it was also great for everyday use. I only used the programmable buttons for one game, but they were handy. The adjustable weight feature was pretty awesome.
  • Cons: This mouse has longevity problems. It was a great mouse when it functioned. I absolutely loved it for the first couple of years that I had it. Slowly, over time, it started to double-click when I only clicked once. I thought my computer had spyware, then I thought there was a driver issue, and it...

Last time I get one

Robert R., Newegg
30 September 2014
  • Pros: Functional for a few months. Great for gaming.
  • Cons: The laser ball gets loose causing the mouse to be non responsive and jittery. It only lasted me a few months, I will be purchasing from a different company.

Meh...

Garrett C., Newegg
12 May 2014
  • Summary: All in all I would say the mouse is decent but I can't say that I'm very happy with it. I would not buy this model again.
  • Pros: Nice mouse for the most part. It seems pretty solid so far. Decent button placement. I like the hyper scroll option for large pages. Being able to adjust the weight of it is a nice feature.
  • Cons: I have trouble with the wheel button. While gaming you must press the wheel down HARD and HOLD IT or you will be tossing your granade/simtex/hatchet early. This is very annoying and often ends up sticking simtex to the wall directly in front of me and then killing a team mate next to me. Wheel in...

User Review

Randall S., Newegg
4 April 2014
  • Summary: Going to hang onto it for now, give it a good run for the money because I like the contours that fit my hand well. I'm not holding my breath.
  • Pros: It works, It is programmable, weight adjustable, it somewhat mimics my old G5 that is starting to act up a bit after 8+ years of heavy gaming.
  • Cons: I'm quite disappointed really. I thought Logitech would have improved, or at least kept the same standard of quality as my old G5. Scroll wheel feels real sloppy, loose feeling, as though it's going to fall out. During heavy gaming (DiabloIII) can feel the buttons flexing & flimsy.

Lasted a Year But......

Stacy P., Newegg
28 February 2014
  • Summary: I contacted support, and got them all the information they needed to get a replacement. The coolest thing about it. They did not want my broken mouse. So it seems like they are having big issues with this one. They sent me a brand new 2013 mouse, and it worked when i plugged it in.
  • Pros: Great mouse the scroll wheel, and feel of the mouse is amazing!. I enjoyed using it up until it died on me randomly as I was browsing the web. Support is great! See Other Thoughts for how support handled it.
  • Cons: Did not last a year died on me, which i hear is common for some of them, but the support was great at getting me a replacement.
