  • Summary: Nice shape and size for the hand. Is to light even with max weights. Buttons doesn't feel like the best it can be. Should've added more programmable buttons. Overall a good mouse.
  • Pros: Size, Shape
  • Cons: Light, Buttons, Scroll wheel

  • Summary: I don't know why people would give this mouse such Praise! I have owned Logtech Mice products before and to be honest This mouse should Not! carry logitechs name. It has a cheap feel. And the weights really don't improve the feel much either. Yes it has adjustable DPI! Yes it has buttons that can be programed. In 2 weeks the scroll lock shift button broke under normal use. So now I have to ship it back to Logitech for replacement.
  • Pros: None Really
  • Cons: Cheap Feel

Ok but not great

Amazon Customer, Amazon
16 January 2012
  • Summary: I'm a long time gamer (before the mouse was around) so I've watched over the years as new designs are supposed to make mice work better. For the past five years or so I've been on a G5. I liked it so much that I would find ones in left over stock where I could when I needed a replacement. I've tried several variations over the past few years such as the Sidewinder, MX 518 and G9. I've got a little above average hand size, so some mice feel like small toys in my hand.

  • Summary: I had this mouse on my wanted list for awhile. I needed something I can use for both gaming and CADing. I had problems with wireless mouse keep disconnecting and batteries dying, especially when used with CAD and games where you do ridiculous amount of clicking. The mouse is great on all those aspects.
  • Pros: Comfortable, weight adjustable
  • Cons: High pitch noise emitting from the mouse., No Mac software support, must get third party programs like USB overdrive to use custom buttons.

Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse

Ady, Amazon
3 April 2014
  • Summary: For the cost of this mouse I thought been wired mouse would last for ever. The cable has become frayed and the mouse stopped working. I love working with the mouse, it fitted my hand. Great balance. But it just cost too much money for such a short life working.

Very comfortable but this is my second unit!

  • Summary: It's a great mouse, incredibly precise and adjustable, with weights to configure as per your required feel. My first unit died after only a few months of moderate use. Amazon replaced it quickly.

good, but a shrill noise...

  • Summary: Good mouse, nice in hand, easy to program, but a shrilling permanent noise very disturbing in the long term. I read this was a recurrent problem with logitech's models, so I returned it. Note: you may not hear the noise as I did, it depends on your hear sensitivity.

Not Bad

Mike M, Amazon
4 March 2013
  • Summary: It has been a short time since i fitted these so they might improve, but they are not as good as the original feet so far. They do fit easily and there are two sets of feet in the bag so all in all not a bad purchase, i would not recommend changing the original feet for these but if they are damaged or lost these are an alright replacement.

Logitech G500 Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

  • Excerpt: it glides like a champ, the side buttons are handy. This is exactly where stuff goes wrong. 1st the cord is this Thick Nylon which if you have a rough edged desk it will get caught on it. 2nd If you don't have a massive hand (like me) your out of luck i really feel like im trying to grip a softball when i play a fps game.

Logitech G500 Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Ruben, pricebat.ca

  • Excerpt: - Capability to adjust weight - Solid corded mouse, with a lot of length to run behind desk and down to comp- Comfortable grip- Good really feel to wheel - Two buttons close to the left click are in an awkward position for me, not quite usable for rapid clicking Macros took me a little bit to figure out lol, but they are really good to have.
