At Digit, we're strong advocates of gaming. As a pastime, a hobby, or just for kicks – gaming is a whole heap of fun and can be made more so by the subject of this review. Gaming mice are fast becoming a norm for err gamers. Interested in a dose of nostalgia? The G500 succeeds the G5, which, in turn succeeded the MX518 - the mouse that started it all. Read more

    • Well built, nicely designed, lots of customisable buttons, customisable weight system, Ergonomics are very good, a highly productive mouse, Very accurate sensor
    • Slightly expensive though not so for the price, Lacks wireless connectivity as an option, Needs Setpoint installed for most features

To conclude, both of these products are a very good choice for a gamer who cares about the hardware they use. The G500 is comfortable, the buttons aren’t placed in hard to reach places (except for the DPI buttons, these I found hard to reach when playing), and the pattern looks great. The G110 is also as comfortable to use, especially when combined with the included detachable wrist rest, and the keys are very tactile. Read more

We love this mouse. We thought the G5 was great, but this G500 is even better and won't be leaving our desktop any time soon. We can still think of improvements, but it's already a new standard for anybody who needs a precise mouse ... not just gamers. Read more

I went from a cheap "came with the computer" mouse to the G500 and the difference is considerable. The main reason I decided to upgrade to a gaming mouse was because the standard optic mouse that I had wouldn't track correctly for sudden, quick movements. When you're trying to swing around the main cannon of a tank, this is a pretty huge requirement. I've gotten by in the past by just gunning for someone else, but now the game has changed. If it weren't for the scroll wheel this would be a 5 egg mouse. I almost took 3 eggs off just because this issue is so bad. But since some people don't seem to have any issues I'm thinking it's just a faulty mouse. Pitty it's going to end up costing me more money to send it back and hopefully get a working mouse. Guess I'm going to have to break out my Deathadder for a while longer while I wait on all this crud to be fixed, if they even fix it. Read more
