Summary: Coming from a MX518 I really didn't like this mouse, and never really grew into it. the tortoiseshell texture is kind of weird, I liked the way it looked esthetically though. cloth cord was a nice upgrade over the one on the MX.
Summary: Most amazing mouse I've had until it died. My friend's mouse is the same kind but a year older and is still working great. I just seem to have bad luck...
Pros: This mouse is very comfy, I love the texture of it (not that glossy plastic), great for gaming, and i love the back and forward buttons.
Cons: The clicking noise used to drive me nuts, but then again every mouse does that for me. --This is the only reason why I'm knocking off the 2 stars :P I bought this in 7/2009 and it has appeared to have died on me (4/2010)...the buttons still work so it must be something with the laser or diode. (C...
Summary: I expect the cost to decrease over time, not increase by 10% over a year after my initial purchase. Why is another large online retailer showing a better price than Newegg?
Pros: Feel Weight Movement
Cons: There is something wrong with this mouse. I love the feel and movement and bought it for three of my computers. So far two have had problems turning off unexpectedly. The problem is intermittent and happens when you least expect it. I had the last one for over a year when it died, so I chalked it...
Summary: Decent mouse if you can fix the preset issue. I think I'm just going to get a razer next time.
Pros: The mouse is very comfortable and the buttons work great. Accurate mouse and great for gaming once you get used to it.
Cons: The dpi presets keep going back to default and change to the highest preset wheneve rI open a new program. The presets I saved don't save when I try playing games even when on the list of games that are supposed to work.
Summary: I used to have an old Microsoft mouse, I think it was one of the earlier laser mice. I miss it.
Pros: Well, it does have 2 sensitivity buttons, tilt wheel, and 2 extra mouse buttons. It has weights, which is nice, and forms around my hand.
Cons: When I am gaming, the thing will stop moving randomly, and it will stop working for about a second or two. The sensitivity is all messed up. If I hit the forward button in game, it lowers my DPI or sensitivity, or whatever to the lowest it can go. If I press the back button (which I use as a talk...
Summary: Not worth more than 50 bucks. Should have gotten the MX518 instead.
Pros: -Comfortable. -All buttons work great and are easy to program. -Doesn't skip across the screen ever. -Wire is long and skinny. -Looks wicked.
Cons: -Too heavy even without weights. -Sometimes mouse will stop responding and you will have to re-connect it. -MOUSE WHEEL SUCKS. SERIOUSLY. You go to push it and it will tilt most of the time. It gets real annoying.
Summary: This is my first time buying such an expensive mouse but I was so glad that I did. The FPS game I play on it, make fragging so much easier and weapon switching quicker. But lately, the mouse began to freeze up in the middle of the game. The power would drop and come back after 5-10 seconds.
Summary: i would defiantly try and buy a different mouse, one without the braided cord. it is no end to the frustration with it.
Pros: nice feel to the mouse, grips your hand well using wither your fingers or your whole palm. the buttons to change resolution on the fly are very handy and it works well as a mouse
Cons: why i gave it a 3 is the cord and middle button on this mouse. the cord is braided, which means it catches on any corner of anything and frays. it doesn't look good and leaves fibers all over the desk. the braided cord is also very stiff and not flexible for movement. the middle button, when pres...
Summary: Overall I am unsatisfied that I purchased this mouse. While the mouse works well (save for the scroll wheel) in every task. The scroll wheel problem makes me want to through it through the window.
Pros: Good overall, buttons are nice and solid. Mouse glides easily on just about any surface. Tracks well on most surfaces, I dont even need to use a mouse pad with it. The changeability of the weights is a bit of a gimmick IMHO.
Cons: The scroll wheel definition wears out quickly. Ive had the same problem with 2 of these that I own. A friend, who bought the mouse on my recommendation, has the same problem as well. If you use the mouse-wheel button, which I do, you will un-intentionally get a scroll, when depressing the wheel b...
