Summary: I believe this mouse represents the pinacle of design/function that logitech has produced in the past 7 years. It has made it through first person shooters, mmos, rts, and years of design and cad work. The design of the mouse is perfect for my hand, though a bigger person might take issue with this mouse slight smaller than standard frame. The curves are in the right place so my thumb and pointer fall on the corresponding buttons.
Summary: I've had this mouse at least 8 years now, I honestly can't keep track any more. It's one of the best overall mice I've used, if not the best. The adjustable weight makes it very easy to make it feel just right for you, and the size of the mouse is perfect for my hands. the adjustable DPI is perfect for in game precision adjustments. and the side button is easily usable with either my thumb or pointer-finger.
Summary: Had this mouse for about 5 years now maybe. Maybe 6 years. When I first got it, I was really into gaming, and it is definitely better than the cheap optical mice (optical mice have the red light emitting from the bottom). The movement and precision is there. The physical build is top notch. This is an amazing mouse. But very, very soon after I got it, the scroll wheel would activate between the positions it clicked between when you roll it.
Summary: My family got this mouse just a bit before I went off to college. At home, I used it for gaming, but it was a bit too big and bulky to take with me to school (though I like the size when I don't have space restrictions). Still, it served faithfully at home when I was there and catching up on games, or when I wasn't and my family was just doing standard computing.
Summary: Ok, ok.. freakin awesome mouse, and a 3 star rating!? Crazy, right? Nope. I would have given this mouse 5 stars if it was still the price that I paid for it, but it's not. I got away with paying a grand total of "Order Total: $50.57" for this mouse about 3-4 years ago. I love this mouse. I actually have no idea what I am going to do if it ever decides to kick the bucket. However, I would never in my wildest dreams pay $170 for it!
