Summary: It has been the second best mouse I've used since my first Logitech wireless mouse with charging base back in 2002. I would buy this again as a replacement if I didn't get my cats who chewed through the cord. Upgrade the cord to a more durable material and I think you have a perfect mouse.
Summary: I've been using logitech mx series for years and Its been hard finding a replacement. When i saw this online and for the price i was relieved that I didn't have to change my mouse style. As soon as it arrived it looked and felt great. Plugged in and I was ready to game. One thing tho. The left mouse button gets a little stuck if i press too hard but it has been loosening up as i use it. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.
Summary: I have a func 1030 surface (original) and Couldn't make this mouse skip in any of the sides, I bough this mouse to replace a beaten up but still working Logitech G5 first generation. I bought this with a SteelSeries QcK Heavy and my fps gaming experience turned 180 degrees in the right direction. I've been playing counter-strike since early beta 5 (back in 1999) and i have always used Logitech to do some hardcore sessions.
Summary: 2013-10-19: I've had my MX518 for years and years. But one night of rage tossing the poor thing on my desk .. the right click was acting up. Anywho, I got the new G400s to replace it, and had it for about a month. So far the feel and weight of the mouse is pretty much like the old MX518. But the USB cord is thinner then the MX518 .. I was hoping for a nice braided cover/sleeve, but no.
Summary: I purchased this to replace my Logitech G5v1 of 7-8 years, you know the old rust schemed one? Yes it lasted me that long. I believe it was the best mouse ever made, so how does this one stand up to it? Pros: -Feels great, nearly identical to the G5. -2 side buttons instead of 1.. or 5! Remember folks, less is more. And 2 is the perfect number. -Great sensor, with a nice cloth pad feels incredibly accurate.
Summary: I've had this mouse for approximately 3 days (used it for about ~3hrs in total). I'm not quite comfortable with adjusting from a small wireless M325 mouse to a huge gaming mouse, especially with my small hands so it's going to take awhile. But I love the slick design on the mouse and how easy it is to switch back to your preferred default DPI and increase or decrease DPI in a click of a button. The response rate is great, and the mouse doesnt click that loud.
Great for gaming has one flaw that makes browsing web pages a pain.

Summary: Great mouse for gaming. My only gripe is the button to lower the dpi is right under the scroll wheel. when I scroll down I always hit it making the mouse cursor slow down. That doesn't happen in games since the scroll wheel isn't used but when I am browsing web pages it is a pain.
Summary: First of all, it's a mouse. It does what a mouse should do. Sure, you can change all the fancy things like DPI on the fly, but really... When do you need to change DPI? But it works. The thing is, I was looking at this mouse last Friday, and thinking "I really do need a nice, corded mouse for my new computer." And so I was about to buy this one, and pay extra for Saturday delivery. But then I decided to go to Best Buy.
