Pros: Good feel, well-placed grip intents and buttons, decent size. For someone like me that has large hands, it fits well into my grip, plus, it's well-contoured so it would probably work for someone with smaller hands too. The color scheme is as expected for "gaming" hardware, with subdued colors and matte black dominating, giving it an attractive look.
Cons: It's all hard plastic, with no rubberized surfaces to enhance grip. Also, this mouse replaced a failing MX518 and, while it does the job and superficially resembles that old, amazing piece of equipment, it just doesn't feel as solid. I hope this lasts as long as the old mouse did, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Summary: Overall, the mouse feels good and performs very well. It has an upgraded optical sensor from the G400 before it. A new coating on the exterior of the mouse as well. The G400s feels light, a little too light for my taste~ For that reason only, I give it four stars.
Summary: This mouse is a very good gaming mouse! This is an awesome mouse, perfect size, very comfy to the hand and offers perfect precision in-game. Unfortunately, the mouse has a very thing cable which bugs an awful lot..... I have had this mouse for 3 weeks now and it keeps turning itself off and back on again. From what I have read online, this is very common with all G400's and can be caused even just by the wire hanging loose of an edge.
Summary: For those who don't know lift off distance is the distance the mouse will still track while in the air. This mouse has a rating of about 4 CDs, which is very high (bad). Basically, if you're a gamer who lifts the mouse off the pad at all while moving (most prominent in first person shooters) your cursor will continue to move while in the air, which completely knocks off your aim.
Summary: Really good mouse for the price. I game from a G500 and although the build quality isn't as good it's still comfortable to use for a long amount of time. Doesn't have weights and the mouse feels quite light which is a change from the G500. I'd recommend this mouse to anyone who's looking for a decent mouse (not just for gaming) which doesn't break the bank.
Summary: I am a casual league of legends player during the evening but have to study at uni during the day. Having been using a generic wireless mouse with my laptop it is safe to say this mouse is easier on my hand. It slides very well and clicks are firm and feel solid. You can feel each segment of the scroll wheel, though clicking it down is a bit hard. The two side buttons are not in the way and I don't really use them at all.
