Summary: Accidentally switched to a mouse profile which was buggy (the mouse only lasted 6 months), and none of the buttons would work, so I couldn't use anything on my computer that couldn't be accessed with a keyboard. I tried calling customer support (got hung up on 4 times before getting them on the line), and they refused to do any troubleshooting before asking me to do a replacement.
Summary: I play world of warcraft and diablo 3 and it worked for wow but if you try to switch to a different game I was told by logitech I need to uninstall and reinstal the gaming software in order for it to work so in order to play any game I need to spend about 30-40 min uninstalling and reinstaling the gaming software than I have to go back and set the mod so do not get if you play more than one game or you spend more time setting up the mouse than playing the game to mabey...
Summary: Tech support does not exist really exist. Have been trying to get tech support to deal with problems to no avail. Does not work from get go. Can not get anything to work. Does not come with software and downloading the right software can be tricky as Logitech claims some versions of the software is wrong even though their own website says it is correct. I found this strange in that I had never had problems with Logitech tech support in the past.
a gaming mouse without complete gaming programmability

Summary: yes, the buttons are programmable, however... I can't simple key in what I'd like the hot keys to be. I'm stuck using this drop down box menu suggestion list. I don't want to cut, past, undo or redo button configuration. I want to choose the letter t or whatever. other thougts... I have a razor deathadder that is longer and allows my room for more of my hand which I like ok.
Summary: This is NOT the mouse to get for gaming. The primary buttons (L&R) Failed within 2 months of purchase. Not worth 5.99 . Not what I expected out of logitech. Another gripe is you cannot have more then one logitech device in use at a time or things like a joystick wont work properly. This purchase is enough to get me to stop using logitech at all. Really Really disappointing. The primary buttons click and unclick with buttons pressed, one press gives you two clicks.
Logitech Gaming Software is problematic on my 64 bit Windows 7.

Summary: Was happily using this mouse until I shutdown my computer. My Windows 7's shutdown takes forever till I have to press the power button to shut it down. It took me a while to isolate the problem. Once I uninstall Logitech Gaming Software, everything went back to normal. I brought this mouse so that I could program macros for my games on my gaming rig. But without the software, it is just a normal high dpi mouse.
