Summary: I got this to replace an Apple Magic Mouse, which had given me one headache after another since I bought it. The Logitech is GREAT! Plug in the USB "Unifying Receiver" and that's it - the mouse is ready to go. I also love the fact that the battery should last 2 years (the Magic Mouse ate a couple of batteries every 2 weeks). I've had no problems using Safari, Chrome or any of my Apps. Unless it self-destructs at midnight, the Logitech is a keeper.
Excerpt: I purchased this to use between my PC and iMac. So far, I am really happy with the purchase. One thing to mention: depending on your Mac product, if the scroll seems backwards, go to your mouse settings and change the scroll direction. Very simple.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Quality, Good Value, Comfortable, compatible
Excerpt: Ordered this to replace older Logitech wireless mouse that had a docking station for recharging. That mouse lasted over 10 years I think. Logitech makes great, well, everything. The M510 has been awesome. Did away with the whole old school recharging/docking station. Everything is much neater. Mouse is very accurate. Full size computer is on the ground below the mouse to the left of it, I'd say maybe 4' away horizontally and 2' below vertically.
Pros: Accurate Tracking, Comfortable Design, Fast Response, Glides Smoothly, Great Features, Works On Any Surface
Summary: This mouse works very well, and it is less expensive than the Magic Mouse. If you are afraid it won't work with your Macbook, do not worry! It works wonderfully with my Macbook. All you need to do is plug in the little piece that comes with it, and the mouse will work!
