Nice design but wonky connection

jayrock, B&H Photo
22 August 2014
  • Excerpt: I like the mouse, it feels great in your hand. I've been getting lots of delayed/laggy connections. I've placed the receiver right in sight of the mouse and that seems to solve it for the time being.
  • Pros: Comfortable Design, Works On Any Surface
  • Cons: Inaccurate Tracking, Slow Response

Good for light use

Bman, reviews.logitech.com

  • Summary: This was my wireless mouse of choice at work, but after going through two of these mice I would not suggest this for anyone in a computer based industry. Being a design engineer, the middle mouse button is an essential button for most 3D programs, but I have had two mice middle buttons fail (both m510s) within a year of getting them. For light, wireless at home use these are fantastic, but if a middle mouse button is a necessity, buyer beware.

Ackward

Sean, reviews.logitech.com
31 December 2013
  • Summary: Was looking to replace my G9X that decided to die out recently. Its definitely not a gaming mouse and is definitely for a person who has both small hands and used to using three fingers on the mouse. Not comfortable after extended use and can't get used to the idea of using three fingers on the mouse. Feels very ackward. Also am unable to assign side buttons in certain games. Best for light use, business types and small hands.

Mostly Good

Mouser, Office Depot
9 October 2013
  • Excerpt: The mouse feels nice in your hand, the wireless works well. My only real complaint is the center scroll wheel, you really have to press hard/sometimes more than once to get it to close windows using the internet. For me, that's really annoying and for that reason I wouldn't buy it again.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Comfortable
  • Cons: Quality, Difficult to Use

User Review

  • Summary: I've had several problems with the laser accurately tracking mouse movement in the short time I've used it. The shape of the mouse, size and the buttons are all great. For the price, it's not a bad purchase.
  • Pros: Unifying received, Nice form, Good range, Easily accessible side buttons
  • Cons: Laser is inconsistent in tracking movement

Slows Me Down

speedfreak, reviews.logitech.com
8 July 2013
  • Summary: I have a dell computer that came with a plug-in mouse. When I moved the mouse very little, the on screen mouse moved a lot. I could move very quickly through pages, and it wasn't too quick. The Logitech 510 moves about a third as fast, and I can't do as much in as little time. The buttons are great, passing through pages without having to click. It is comfortable to use, but I can't recommend it to a friend.
