Great Mouse but NUTS pricing
17 March 2013
Summary: I've now had 4 of these AMAZING input devices - which saves effort/time, has great range and battery life and eliminates carpel tunnel. However, I've never paid more than $50 for any of mine (3 still work at 3 and 4 years later, one doesn't because it was dropped one too many times. This price however is FKN insane. Shop around folks.
Summary: I've been using this one for about three (or more) years now, it is a great looking and functioning mouse for everyday use. I used this one exclusively for years, but only intermittantly as of late since I have a trackpad that I've started using. Anyway, this mouse is great for everyday use on PC's or Mac's, it is highly accurate so long as you keep the ball and wheel area cleaned out.
Summary: Bought this trackball some time back and have loved it ever since. The wireless link performs flawlessly. The 'trackball'is a great way to control the pointer on my screen and shape of the device fits my hand perfectly making for very comfortable use. I am aware that the link has been updated since I purchased this, but I am sure the device will be as great as ever.
Summary: I use this with my laptop and a desk unit. they work well. No moving all over your desl to move the curser. Thumb ball is great. Very accurate and I can use it on the side arm of my recliner. Wife loves hers too..
Summary: I bought this mouse when they first came out years ago. Yesterday It died. I will be replacing it with a brand new one and hope I can get years of enjoyment out of it. Yes it sometime gliched and need a reset now and then but I had wireless video security units and other devices and I never had any problem. I could use the mouse up to 20 feet away with no problem. It maybe could have go farther but the wall was in the way.
Summary: After a HARD day of counting my money and tripping children at the local food store I love coming home and thumbing my ball. No more will I have waste wrist muscle movement while I watch web videos I have moved on to the next level with ball thumbing. At 200 dollars I thought I was going to get arrested for stealing from the amazon but no cops have come knocking on my door yet.
Summary: I wanted a wireless mouse and because of space the trackball was the best idea because I can keep it in a fixed position. It took a day or two to get used to but it is very comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: I have both the wireless and the wired version of this trackball. I really like the ergonomics of the trackball. I have used it with many PC desktops and laptops and have never had any problems. I have not installed any software, just plug in the USB cable and it works. The thumb operation allows for quick movements. For example, in a first person game you can just flick your thumb and spin around 180 degrees. I have used the mouse for games, CAD, and word processing.
