Summary: Well if you would like a mouse just like this at around 70 dollars look for this one ............. New Sanwa Wireless Laser Trackball Mouse Red MA-WTB43R. I bought 4 Logitech ones here but if that's what your looking for look it up because they just started building it again From Sanwa.
Summary: I checked with Logitech and could not find an update/driver to make this work on my computer. Now I have to return it. The sales rep's suggestion was to call the manufacturer of the next mouse I buy to confirm it will work with Windows 7. Great, I will do newegg's job for them. Boo.
Pros: This mouse is almost exactly the kind I needed except for one flaw...
Cons: The newegg description says it is Windows 7 compatible -- it is not. Newegg got it wrong. It says right on the side of the box which OSs are required.
Summary: I adore trackball mouses. I own a corded one. When I first received this in the mail I immediately used it. It worked like a charm but then it went downhill from there. It got to the point where I was so fed up, I'd disconnect the receiver and plug in the corded mouse.
Pros: Freedom to move mouse around as I wanted without a cord was always a plus, comfortable.
Cons: The corded receiver is annoying, defeats the point of having a cordless mouse with their still being a long cord. Distance from the receiver was not a problem, but it disconnected practically everyday. The mouse drained the battery within the week, that's too soon. Had to press both connect butto...
Summary: bought a cheap MS small wireless mouse, no wires, and it works like a charm. Seems to me that Logitech needs to get some clues about building good products. This one I bought is garbage at best. can't send it back to NE because I lost the invoice!!!
Pros: I could not find any, except it fits your hand nicely.
Cons: I used this for at most 15 days, and one morning it decided it had enough, and has never worked since. When I was using it I found that the wire to the thing that sends/receives signals was a huge hassle, and was always getting in the way. Then I tried it on my laptop, that was a joke. It just ne...
Summary: They say this is a cordless trackman, but this is NOT A CORDLESS PRODUCT. There is a 4 foot cord on the receiver. And the receiver is huge. It is time for a receiver to be the same as a jump drive - no cord and small. This receiver and cord is a real big nuisance.
Huge disappointment (both product and Logitech customer service)

Summary: I'm really disappointed with both this product and the response I've rec'd from Logitech's customer service. If I could rate it lower than a one-star rating, I would. After purchasing this cordless trackman in December '09, it quit working in January '10.
