Kensington Turbomouse Pro

Consumer Democracy

  • Summary: I like this trackball very much. It's very comfortable and easy to use. My only complaints are that it occasionally gets stuck or hits a bump; as if it's a bearing problem. Cleaning doesn't remedy the situation. I can't tell if it's a software or hardware problem. As for software, Kensington's MouseWorks is pretty good, but fails in some scrolling demands and snap-to-default preferences.
  • Pros: There is an ease and comfort of use. For the most part, it's a smooth and accurate trackball mouse.
  • Cons: Occasionally there is a catch in the mouse movement; like a bump or slight ditch in the road.

Kensington Turbo Mouse Pro Wireless

  • Summary: I love this trackball. I have it programmed to do so many things that all I use the keyboard for anymore is to type! When web surfing, I can even go back and forward a page, or up and down. Six buttons at the top can be programmed to access your programs. I am a trackball junkie, since I have wrist problems, but this is by far my favorite, as it can also be switched from the right to left hand (it is easy to get used to using it with another hand.
  • Pros: Sometimes I lose it because it is wirless!
  • Cons: Sometimes I lose it because it is wirless!
