Oldschool editing interface

  • Excerpt: I was so excited when I found this trackball. Right away I ordered one, for use on my Mac G5 for Protools editing, and a little bit of Photoshop and iMovie too. It has the feel I need for quick efficient editing. I love the large ball, think billiard ball size, it provided both speed and control, for precise editing. The top address ball allows me to control it with my thumb, fore fingers or both. (unlike many other track balls that are only thumb address.

  • Excerpt: This is by far the best trackball i have ever used.I ordered one of these when they first came out, and absolutely love it.Just recently it stopped working, i wore it out.Heavy gaming along with constant web searching finally got to it. I have had it several years and it has been wonderful.I love it so much that as soon as it quit, i ordered another to replace it.I can't say enough about it.The most comfortable trackball i have ever used and i have tried them all over...

The Legend Lives On!

Sam Clemens, B&H Photo
30 May 2011
  • Excerpt: I've been using Kensington trackballs for about 16 years. I forget what they called the with one with the wheels but that was my first. I moved to expert mouse when optical technology came out. I still use an Expert Mouse wireless, an Expert Mouse, and now this SlimBlade. Believe me folks NOBODY makes a trackball as smooth as Kensington. I got this SlimBlade to use with my HP laptop because I just couldn't stand the products offered by Microsoft and Logitech.
  • Pros: Glides Smoothly
  • Cons: Too big for laptop use

  • Excerpt: graphic design, using 'adobe cs3, corel x5 and xara pro 5'using it in a 32 and 64 bit environment with hot key functions, does everything that the expert mouse does plus 2 more functions... SlimBlade does not come with installation disk and there are more than two versions, so match firmware with model no. on bottom of unit.. it's a quality product from 'kensington', and the best place to get it from is 'b&h photo', because of great pricing[...

Tops for Ease, Comfort and Precision

unforetold, B&H Photo
17 November 2010
  • Excerpt: I'm at the computer 12 hours/day and I find a trackball much better than a mouse for my hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. My Logitech Trackball developed floating cursor and I couldn't cure it. I looked at lots of recommendations from friends and relatives, but no one mentioned the Kensington SlimBlade Trackball. I found it on my own, and it is perfect for me. The large ball makes for easy cursor precision. Its simple clean design is very appealing to me.

The finishing touch to the perfect desktop

Mary Ellen Barnes, Amazon

  • Summary: If you have decided to get the superlative Kensington SlimBlade keyboard set, then I absolutely have to recommend this stylish remote to complement the system. It's flexible, capable, and downright sexy to boot. This thing also has incredible range, about 25 feet, perfect for those among you with a media center computer. Usable with both Windows and OS X, this product is the ultimate in media control. Just don't let the power go to your head...

Can't beat these mice

MarciaA, Amazon
14 June 2013
  • Summary: I've had a couple of these now (I have a spare that I keep in my travel-laptop bag as well as the one I use for my main laptop). I've always been a fan of the Kensington mice with the nano USB receiver - you can put the receiver in and forget about it, since it doesn't stick out hardly at all once inserted into the USB slot. But if you do want to take it out, you can store it in the body of the mouse itself - there's a little slot provided under the battery cover.
