Sent it back

Amarissa Burtness, Amazon
14 November 2013
  • Summary: I could not get this to work on my laptop. Bluetooth connected easily, and laptop was recognizing the device as "working properly", but nothing I did could get this to work (either as a mouse or trackball). I even uninstalled and reinstalled. I had to send it back.

Great mouse! err ah ball...

FingersO'Fred, Amazon
9 January 2011
  • Summary: I love the long battery life - I've had it about a month now (with heavy use; about 12 hrs. per day) and I just got a low battery warning tonight for the first time. As soon as it detected the batteries at less than 10% a Task-bar message popped-up to let me know it was time to start thinking about...

easy to clean

Louis D. Homer, Amazon
6 October 2010
  • Summary: 17 months and still very pleased. I was worried about buying this product because of the negative reviews associated with cleaning the trackball. Then I found one review that explained that with some care it was possible to extract the trackball, clean and replace it.

Almost a Great Product

Marked Up, Amazon
5 October 2010
  • Summary: My experience started off badly when I encountered the same problem of intermittently dropping the Bluetooth connection. Kensington support was no help. I solved the problem by reinstalling my computer's Bluetooth software (not the same as Kensington's driver).

A Waste of Money

Nancy B., Newegg
10 November 2009
  • Summary: I'm really pretty surprised that it just died at a little over a year. I really hesitated to spend so much for a mouse (luckily I didn't pay list, at least - but still A LOT) and I've learned my lesson. TrackMan or nothing.
  • Pros: It paired with my Sony laptop fine. It's attractive. It worked fine for a little over a year...
  • Cons: After a little over a year, it died. The only mice I ever had that just died were really, really cheap ones ($5). My wired TrackMan is really, really old - works fine. I carry it between computers now... when they're on sale... This mouse did not see rough service. It was only in a laptop bag a f...

Great product, easy set up, long life

Tiaza "Tiaza", Amazon
7 November 2009
  • Summary: This was a beauty out of the box. Pros: It synched pretty easily once I figured out what the lights meant. Unlike other bluetooth mice I've had, you don't have to go through a lot of fussy set up every single time you use it. Once it's paired, it's good.

Unreliable slimblade ... but FIXED

Aviv, Amazon
8 September 2009
  • Summary: I really liked this trackball / mouse - best of both worlds, working in every situation, and bluetooth. When it is working - it is great. BUT - first one died after several months; I ordered second one as I liked it so much, thikning first one was a lemon.

Excellent Design

Jose R., Newegg
8 June 2009
  • Summary: This is the perfect device for my needs. Portability, size and ease of use.
  • Pros: This mouse-trackball hybrid by Kensington is exceptionally designed. Its small - the size of a Blackberry Pearl - with a good shape to fit your hand. I bought it to use with my ASUS N81Vp notebook. Its a perfect match. BT worked right off the bat after downloading the drivers from Kensington's we...
  • Cons: Lack of that middle button.

A bit hard to set up

Engineering Geek, Amazon
1 June 2009
  • Summary: Bought this mouse as a travel trackball. Can't seem to get it to function as a true trackball, and can't seem to find a detailed owner's manual on the CD. Works great as a regular mouse, though. More time may allow me to figure out how to make it do its tricks.
