The Best

Michael G., Newegg
  • Pros: I've been using one of these for over ten years - yes, the same one! They are built like a tank, and once you get used to one, you will NEVER use a mouse again. This is simply the best pointing device ever made, period.
  • Cons: Expensive - but you get what you pay for.

Carpel Tunnel No More

pbpanagore, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: When carpel tunnel syndrome threatened my mousing hand and thereby threatened my livelihood, I bought a 4-Button USB Expert Pro Mouse Trackball. I did my homework first. I have had mine for five years. When my TV media manager complained of a similar aliment I immediately bought her one and she too has found much relief. It is easy to install and easy to use.
  • Pros: Accurate Controls, Easy To Clean, Ergonomic Layout, Fast Response, Smooth Movement

My solution to tendonitis!

KE, B&H Photo
13 January 2015
  • Excerpt: Until someone told me about this product, I was unable to use an external mouse. Every one I tried brought on painful bouts of tendonitis! This limited the kind of keyboard I could use. I was tearing my hair out over unsatisfactory touch pads and other such solutions. Occasionally I knock the trackball onto the floor and have to crawl around my office to retrieve it. Other than that, no downside to this product!

Awesome product

  • Excerpt: I had the first version of this. When i received my new 5k iMac from B and H it was the first accessory I purchased. Fluid movement, it really maximizes efficiency especially on a large or multi monitor(s). I am a professional video producer and photographer and it is a great tool. The scroll ring takes a few days of good use to really break in, but other than that it is perfect right out the box.

Efficiency & Flexibility

Radar, B&H Photo
4 November 2014
  • Excerpt: Have been using Kensington Trackballs for years because they require only the footprint space; no moving the mouse around. Trackball movement can be programmed for rapid cursor movement or for precise, minute movements. 4 buttons can also be programmed, e.g. one for click, one for double click, one for click & drag, one for right button menu; the buttons can further be programmed for chording (using two buttons at the same time) for even more operations.
  • Pros: Accurate Controls, Easy To Clean, Ergonomic Layout, Fast Response, Flexible Options, Programmable, Smooth Movement

Flexible Comfortable Mouse

Nate the Great, B&H Photo
4 November 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought this mouse to alleviate wrist/hand pain I have been experiencing for the past year doing computer work. I work with AutoCAD software daily, and finding a mouse that provides easy access to most common functions in a comfortable form is difficult. This mouse features a large trackball (size of a plum) that is easy to manipulate with either a couple fingers, a thumb, or even the entire palm, and the motion is quite natural.
  • Pros: Ambidextrous, Customizable, Ergonomic Layout, Smooth Movement
  • Cons: Uncomfortable

Still working like new, 8+ years later

Mr., B&H Photo
23 May 2014
  • Excerpt: High School media program that purchased 4, 8 years ago - 1 went missing after a renovation. The remaining 3 are still working like new, so when the mice that came with our computers started having problems, 30 more were acquired. Students are sometimes slow to accept a different approach to what they consider the "norm.

Excellent

Don D, B&H Photo
15 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I am an Architect that uses AutoCAD for design. Utilizing a trackball for design is nearly required with the control it allows within the software. I have been searching for a couple years for one that actually gives such precision control and still feels comfortable in your hand. After testing at least 10 other trackballs this one has fit the bill perfectly. Completely customizable. Completely comfortable. Offering complete precision control.
