Summary: I have to second the opinion I've seen in a few other reviews about the problems with the magnetic cover. The mouse itself is great, and the nano receiver is great, but my wife and I just couldn't stand the repeated instances of the cover coming off. I didn't even check to see if some of the magnets were not included during production (as another review mentioned) - I just boxed it back up and readied it for return to Amazon.
Summary: Not sure this would be the optimal choice for gaming, however I bought it for that very reason and it continues to amaze me. The best feature would have to be the nano receiver that I just keep in and forget about. I also like the small slider underneath that you can turn on or off to save battery life incase you know you are going to leave the pc for awhile. It's sleek, fast and the battery life thus far has been amazing! Now for the down side.
Summary: I've owned a number of Kensington wireless mice and usually love them. This one - I'm not sure... I received it yesterday. The cover is magnetic and comes off whenever I do more than slide the mouse. I wasn't aware of how often I pick up a mouse until I used this model and had the mouse clattering on the tabletop. The response/reception works well, but I just don't like the feel and the loose cover (the entire top comes off). ---- WELL!!
Kensington Ci95m Wireless Mouse - Good Basic Wireless Mouse
Mark "Technology, Music and Movies", Amazon
10 December 2008
Summary: The Kensington ci95 Wireless Mobile Mouse with Nano Receiver is a good basic wireless mouse. The price is right and the performance is good enough for most users, though more demanding users may want to step up. In terms of value, this is definitely a pretty good option, and those with smaller hands should find this mouse comfortable enough. I suppose that is the paradox with wireless mice.
