Summary: If you need a presenter with the full function of a desktop mouse, then you have found it. This little unit worked perfectly right out of the box and has worked consistently day after day. I am well pleased with the Iogear phaseer 3-in-1 presenter.
Summary: Product seems to function as advertized. Did not initially connect as a mouse but called customer support and was advised about a reset on the bottom of the base cradle (not identified on the unit or in the manual) and on the bottom of the hand unit... Ultimately all works ..... Track ball takes some movement to get from A to B but may be further configurable in the driver options.... Will see what it does....
Summary: I am a technical instructor, giving over 200 presentations a year. I bought this product over a year ago so that I could reduce the amount of gear I had to carry when traveling (mouse and presenter). The presentation function works pretty well; the only problems I have experienced is the occasional loss of signal between the presenter and the base, and a rare "faded" laser pointer (difficult to see from the back of the room). The mouse on the other hand is horrible.
Summary: * No right-click when using the track ball * Poor battery life/no auto shut-off * on/off : mouse : presentation switch difficult to use. It would be great if it had the features of a USB mouse, but whit the current design.
Summary: I am a professional corporate educator and this is the worst device I have ever used. I will never buy another IOGear product as long as I live. This thing has a laundry list of problems. 1. It does not utilize a dongle for communication with the computer it uses a large base/cord combination. It is a bit ridiculous. I travel for a living, as many corporate educators do, and this device does me no favors. It did not come with a case or any way to pack it.
Summary: I may not be the brightest when it comes to technology, but I have been frustrated with this phaser. I purchased it for my classroom, and I haven't really used it. This has not been a helpful tool. Too complicated, and only seems to function properly some of the time.
UPDATE: NO "RIGHT CLICK BUTTON" when using as track ball.
