  • Summary: Works GREAT !! Switched cell phones and wanted to transfer pictures and phone book to new phone !! Worked great, very fast, saved a bunch of time and trouble. But--knocked off a star for the install. No cd in my package, had to go to web site for the drivers (windows 7 64 bit) Be sure to get the right 1's -- lots of choices !! Software hard to install even though I fix and upgrade computers as a 2nd income. Wouldn't go to the 2nd part of the install after restart.

  • Summary: This bluetooth adapter from IOGear does as it is supposed to and has not failed me yet. I can transfer files to and from my phone without having to plug in cables and clutter up my desk any more than what it is already. Installation is plug and play and only took a few minutes. shortly after that i had my phone synchronised with my computer and sending pictures from the phone and music from the computer.

  • Summary: My wife's fancy new cell phone did not come with a USB cable, & I expected a low-end bluetooth adapter would make more sense. For one thing I can use it with other devices now & in the future. I mainly use GNU/Linux, so I didn't know how well it would work -- drivers and all being not researched ahead of time. It worked fine in WinXP SP3 -- just plug & go.With Linux if took a bit of finessing installing software, but I got basic functionality.

  • Summary: Meets all expectations. Superb technology in an extremely small, low power package. I leave this adapter in my laptop 100% of the time with no accelerated battery consumption.

  • Summary: Got it for $20 from local Walmart. Mac installation is the easiest (no installation). Just plug it in and straight go to your Mac's Bluetooth settings in system preferences. Add a device. You are done. I tried to install my Apple BT keyboard and it initially gave error about BT compatibility. Here is finally what I did. Open Preferences (BT). Add device (by searching for device).

  • Summary: FAX via cell phone/computer: My first wish on going blue tooth was to be able to send and receive fax from my computer via one of out cell phones. I ran out of motivation before I have been able to determine weather this will allow for that to happen or not. Ring tone transfer My second wish was to be able to move music clips from my computer to my cell phone for ring-tones.
