Summary: I bought this to use with my desktop HP computer . I could not really use it at all . It would not work . I ended up putting it in with my HP laptop that I use for trips and it works great for it so I am happy to get use out of it .
Summary: I ordered this mouse along with a new keyboard because my old ones were not working properly. The keyboard works well on everything except my e-mail. So, that may be my provider's issue. The mouse works better than the old one but not on my family tree program. Maybe that program is the issue there. I like the look and feel of the keyboard and mouse but they did not solve all my issues.
Summary: I was hopeful when I saw this mouse got better reviews than the other Optical Comfort Mouse by HP. But I have random issues with this one, as described by other owners of the non-Link-5 variety. I can't tell if it relates to what programs are running in Ram memory or if it relates to other USB connections or the phase of the moon. Sometimes it runs smooth and effortless, then it will get all jumpy and crazy, or the scrolling takes off on its own.
Summary: Nice mouse, works well. Has an on-off switch on the bottom to conserve batteries. The only problem is that the wheel is loose as a goose. On most mice the wheel has definite stops you can feel and that holds the wheel at the setting you select. This mouse has no stops in fact the wheel spins freely if you give it a flick. It is very easy to move the wheel just by setting the mouse down or picking it up. And I have 2 of these so I know it's not a fluke.
