Summary: Mouse could not be recognized by either my laptop or the main desktop computer. Had to call HP to trouble shoot with still no resolve. Had to return item and that process was handled very quickly.
Summary: While this may seem like a great idea, HP leaves a LOT of room for improvement with this creation. We tried it on 3 different laptops and although we actually made it work one time with one the laptops, that was not a reproducible situation. The one time it did work, it would freeze up and require approximately 3 minutes of wiggling in order to become responsive again.
Summary: Returning. Was not able to pair this mouse with 2 laptops - HP DV8 with Intel 5100 AGN wireless link (updated with the latest driver from Intel)and second - a new Lenovo 420 just purchased. The idea is good, to use existing Wi-Fi card with software created wireless router (built into Windows 7 for certified network cards) creating another wireless connection - "Wireless Network Connection 2" and pairing it with your device, but implementation is faulty - too many...
Poor experience with this product.. and HP in general

Summary: **PREFACE: this review is more of the experience with this product than its actual function** I had purchased (2) of these mice for the (2) new HP dv6t entertainment series notebooks I had also recently purchased. NEITHER of the mice were detected by either notebook! I contacted customer support. HP did a very poor job of trying to help me with my issue.
Summary: When i was looking for a mouse, i came upon this one and thought it would be a good buy. I received it fast since i have PRIME and the first thing i found was that the driver cd is one of the small mini dvd not regular dvd so i had to look for the driver and software online. Everything went smoothly and started using it right away with no problems. Day two and the mouse will not connect to my computer. I reinstalled all drivers and software and nothing.
Summary: After reading a good review in PC Mag, I bought this mouse. Imagine my frustration when it wouldn't install properly! The mouse would never connect to the laptop, some file "missing"; I soon discovered via Google I was not alone. Known issue with this thing. It went back to Amazon the next day. Win7 Pro 64 on a less than a year old Dell w/4gb and SSD. So much for the wifi mouse. Well played HP. I can see why HP is in trouble after this product experience.
Summary: Unfortunately, while HP advertises that they've eliminated the need to re-install their wifi mouse the way you have to with Bluetooth mouses, it's not quite true. The wifi mouse lost connection with my laptop again and again. Especially if I was watching a video and not using it for a few minutes. HP really failed with this and you have to wonder what they did to test this product since my complaint is that same as many, many users have shared online.
Terrible terrible product. Just don't buy it! Please!

Summary: I love HP products. I'm always extremely satisfied with their computers, laptops and printers. However, this mouse was an extreme disappointment! First of all, it took me a really long time to have the drivers installed on my brand new HP laptop (I purchased it together with my laptop). You'd expect HP to sell you a product with a Windows 7 laptop that can actually be installed on windows 7 - but nope, that's not the case.
