Summary: This is an excellent mouse that works in either left or right hands. It is the best alternative to the now defunct intellimouse by microsoft. Unlike most modern mice , this one wasn't designed for a 5 year old child but rather for an adults hands. I bought quite a few of them.
Summary: Its a very nicely made mouse comfortable to use. However I downloaded the driver from the site, and apparently it installed. It did come up with a completely nonsensical error message, but seemed to terminate correctly. Now when I go to set up the mouse - using it to navigate to the HP driver controller, it tells me I don't have one connected????. So all the lovely extra knobs bells and whistles that this mouse supplies are absolutely useless.
Summary: I bought this mouse to replace my 8 year old MS Intellimouse and it has been great to use so far. Very well constructed, decently priced and is one of the few 5 button wired mice that look good. It seems that nowadays that choices for mice are only the standard 3 button, or a 20 button gaming mouse, so finding a replacement was a chore.
Summary: So, my almost 10 year old 5 button Microsoft Intellimouse was worn out. And the mouse marked nowadays seems to be full of either minimal wireless 3-button laptop mouses and grotesque 20-button gamer equipment. This is, as far as I know, the closest you get the old MS mouse: Scroll wheel with clicks and one button on either side of the mouse (that I use frequently for "previous page" and "next page" when surfing the web).
Summary: I enjoy using this mouse quite a lot, looks great and most importantly feels great. With the extra two buttons you can customize them to your own needs by downloading the software to do so. I feel its very comfortable to use and I have had no problems with this mouse.
