Summary: Have the combination keyboard and mouse. Mouse went bad. Ordered new mouse. No instructions on how to change the frequency for the keyboard to match the new frequency for the mouse. Couple of months later, we still can't figure it out. Gyration doesn't answer.
Summary: I bought one of these from Gyration years ago and loved it. Needed to replace it so ordered from Amazon last month. The package that arrived did not contain a cover to protect the wireless keyboard (although Amazon advertised it as having one). Checked with the vendor and they said they haven't provided a cover for this product since 2010. Without a cover, the keyboard will get beaten up in a backpack/briefcase. Returned product for refund and ordered the air mouse only.
Summary: I ordered 2 for our office in Sept of 2012. We are on our second one already! Batteries don't hold a charge. Looking for a new brand. Very disappointing because the others we've had have lasted years.
Summary: Reciever was different from the one I used with my keyboard and became bulky to have 2 recievers. Also motion was slightly jerky and not what I expected as I've used Gyration for many years. Passed the time to return it so I resold it on Amazon.
Summary: I bought this and hated it. It looks nice but works like trash. I was using this from accross the room and it kept cutting out. I tried changing batteries and it didn't help. I bought this because money isn't an issue and eneded up settleing for a cheaper wirelesss combo system. Stick with Logitech, they keep making products for a reason.... unless you want to waste money like i did too.
Summary: It's not the kind of thing you'd use every day, as I found out - it's for occasional use only - pretty good for controlling a movie on your media pc but no good for emailing/internet/wordprocessing/etc and absolutely rotten for games. And then it broke about 6 months after I got it. Now I need another solution, this isn't the answer to anyone's question....
Summary: Heads up: I've already returned mine after 48 hours. In a nutshell, the pointer drifts. I've tried re-calibrating it several times (the procedure given on the product website's FAQ), to no avail. Finally after the third time attempting to calibrate it caused the thing to lose link altogether and not reconnect - I gave up.
Summary: The Gyration Air Mouse is very challenging (I thought) to learn to use but very convenient to have around. All of our Movie/TV watching is done through computers so a mouse is a necessity in our home. This little gizmo is quite small but totally effective and has never given us any functionality issues, never needed a service call and mouse 1 is two years in use. All of our computers are Window 7 and drivers have not been required outside of what Windows provides.
Summary: I have two Gyration keyboards bought about 5 years apart. I wanted to add this mouse to my system by using one transmitter. Neither keyboard could sync with the transmitter that came with the mouse. So I would have to use two separate transmitters and tie up two USB ports. I thought this strange since I see transmitters for Gyration on sale as separate items. The mouse did work fairly well but I wouldnt recommend it for the money.
