Summary: I can use it as a regular mouse most of the time. I have had to turn it off & turn it on quite a few times, I RARELY use the gyration feature because it doesn't perform the way it is supposed to, therefore it makes it difficult to operate. Had I known that fact when I bought this mouse, I would've gotten the mouse that works on any surface. As a matter of fact, I might still do that, and take this back.
Summary: Have the combination keyboard and mouse. Mouse went bad. Ordered new mouse. No instructions on how to change the frequency for the keyboard to match the new frequency for the mouse. Couple of months later, we still can't figure it out. Gyration doesn't answer.
Summary: I bought one of these from Gyration years ago and loved it. Needed to replace it so ordered from Amazon last month. The package that arrived did not contain a cover to protect the wireless keyboard (although Amazon advertised it as having one). Checked with the vendor and they said they haven't provided a cover for this product since 2010. Without a cover, the keyboard will get beaten up in a backpack/briefcase. Returned product for refund and ordered the air mouse only.
Summary: When I got my original Gyration Go Air Mouse, the battery would last for well over a day. I would charge it at night and leave it out all day with constant use and never noticed it die once. Well after a few years it would die after maybe 8-10 hours of constant use. As I'm on my computer all day, this can be bad, especially if I have a lot of work to get done, rather than just sitting back watching movies or playing games.
Summary: I bought this and hated it. It looks nice but works like trash. I was using this from accross the room and it kept cutting out. I tried changing batteries and it didn't help. I bought this because money isn't an issue and eneded up settleing for a cheaper wirelesss combo system. Stick with Logitech, they keep making products for a reason.... unless you want to waste money like i did too.
Summary: Nice small size keyboard, but don't spill even a drop of liquid on it. My first one died a quick death when a few drops of liquid entered the keyboard. Absolutely no help from the manufacturer in getting a replacement. I foolishly bought a second one and the same thing happened. Customer support is non existent. Don't waste time in trying to get in touch with them. Access is a dead-end street.
Summary: Love this item out of the box. It really worked very well. No issues at all on that front. I had this hooked up to a laptop in our bedroom using our flat screen as a monitor. It was virtually never used. The mouse sat on the charger 24x7. I think I used it maybe 10 times over the course of a year. At about that time, I went to use it again and found the mouse was dead. Keyboard was still fine and worked with original batteries.
Summary: The mouse and keyboard combination are an attractive set for a conference room or board room. The problems arise when using the advertised functionality. The keyboard works as advertised but the gyro mouse is beset with many issues. 1- Although it's an RF device the mouse doesn't respond well if something as simple as the keyboard is in between the mouse and the transceiver. A clear view is essential, even within 10ft.
Summary: I have persevered for months now with this mouse. I works fine then out of the blue just stops. If I had not got a wheel on my logitech keyboard I would have been in trouble. Like another user says what does one do? No way of getting it replaced and who is to say it would not have happened again. Rarely do I have a problem with any product sold through Amazon but sadly this is one.
