Summary: This company is a disaster. I purchased both the Air Mouse Go Plus AND the Air Mouse Elite last week. After installation, the "Motion Tools" software constantly crashes, and I routinely get a "black screen" whenever I select a "pointer" or other on-screen tool. I have left multiple voice-mail messages on their phone and multiple e-mail requests for assistance, and not one response. STAY AWAY! DO NOT BUY!!!
Summary: I bought this product for use at work. I travel quite a bit, and it's very helpful to have a wireless mouse and keyboard to use with my tablet PC. Unfortunately, this version of Gyration's product has been anything but reliable. Within a month of first use, the wireless mouse died. I had to send it to Gyration's repair facility, paying the shipping, and then wait a month for it to be fixed and returned. That was in April-May.
Summary: I ordered this as a replacement to my Gyration Air Mouse Pro which I've used for the last five years in multiple harsh environments without issues until recently as the mouse now tends to drift on its own (one too many drops maybe). So I decided to try out the elite version and upgrade to the full size keyboard. This mouse has been crap from day one. I've actually gone back to using my old mouse and dealing with the occasional drift. Here are the issues: 1.
Summary: Around 2005 I purchased this product in my local store and I found it amazing! Setup was easy, it worked great. The idea of having gyroscope in the mouse is just incredible. Perfect design and perfect implementation. I said "Thank you guys at Gyration!". Now when I needed similar device for my other HTPC I had no question where to go... Gyration! I went again to the store and bought exactly same model as the last time.
Summary: An air mouse that you can wave in the air to control the cursor as you would a regular mouse? Now, that is a nifty concept, but is the Gyration Air Mouse all it's cracked up to be or is it all hot air? Well, for the most part, this mouse actually works as advertised. However, I have a few issues with ergonomics: - Strain on the Wrist to Control the Cursor The mouse relies on the articulated movement of your wrist (i.e.
Summary: this thing is definately crap. it's too expensive and the first three i received either had problems with the mouse the keyboard or both. now that i've had it for about six months the keyboard will lose connection whenever it wants. this product is garbage. go with a good logitech mouse and keyboard.
Summary: I used to love this mouse but after a couple years the battery stopped charging. I investigated to find out the thing required a custom battery that nobody carries anymore. Turns out the newer model has a battery case that's just slightly different, I guess the builder wanted to force me to spend another $80-90 for a new mouse. I did some investigation and cracked open the original now dead battery.
Summary: We bought this specifically because we needed it to work without line-of-sight and about 25 feet away. Although it supposedly has a range of up to 100 feet, we couldn't get the mouse to work more than 5 feet away. However, the keyboard worked fine, even from a considerable distance. Even when the mouse was working, it seemed to lag on responsiveness. If you didn't move it for a few minutes, it wouldn't immediately respond to motions, like it had gone to sleep.
Summary: First, I thought I had order the compact keyboard and go mouse but I must of error'd as I got the full keyboard and go wireless mouse. It came with a USB wireless plug-in, the go mouse and charging cradle, keyboard batteries, keyboard and nothing else. No instructions, no installation software; nothing. I plugged the charger in and set the mouse in it and left it for several hours.
