Pros: No external dongle require for my BT equipped laptop.
Cons: Mouse is very small, in fact to small for my hand. Dispite the case where the mouse come with, the mouse is scratched (Very ironic). Bluetooth connection with my HP Win 8.1 Laptop, keen disconnecting at random. Reconnection is not very fast after Laptop awake. Mouse movement isn't fluid
Summary: Wait for Gigabyte to refine this. Even without the possible bluetooth issues, I was highly disappointed with this mouse.
Pros: DPI setting, thumb buttons, and textured grip. This is (meant to be) a gaming mouse for a laptop (albeit a small one).
Cons: First things first, being a mouse designed for gamers by Gigabyte, I was expecting something with better build quality. My wife's Logitech VX Nano has held up under heavy daily use for years now and is a much better designed unit all around. The mouse wheel is light years better, the overall construction and build quality are better, and as I'll expand upon below, the batteries are easier to get at. With the Gigabyte GM-M7700B, batteries are a pain to remove. The mous...
Summary: I liked the mouse. It did seem to have a short delay in waking up after non-use but I was willing to overlook that. Previously, I had tried the Microsoft BT mouse, models 500 & 5000 which turned out to be identical and both had terrible clicking and roller response. I'm biting a restocking fee from Newegg so if you want to try this mouse for yourself, buy it from someone who offers a better return guarantee so you don't lose money, too.
Pros: -Nice packaging from Gigabyte -Good ergonomic feel -Smooth clicking and roller response -2 modes of laser resolution -Bluetooth mouse paired easily with my laptop
Cons: -Eats a brand new set of batteries in 4 days max.. -On/off switch doesn't seem to change life of batteries
Summary: Get something else. Don't waste your money on this.
Pros: I actually like the shape of this mouse, and when it worked, it was great.
Cons: It goes to sleep almost immediately after staying still, and will take a few seconds to wake up. This problem is exacerbated to a ridiculous degree with Windows 8. Mouse is now useless, and I'm looking for a replacement
Summary: It would be nice if there were actual size dementions mentioned anywhere so it wasn't such a risk of it being way too small (which was the case this time) or way too big.
Pros: It had all the features I wanted. Which is the only reason I am giving it two stars.
Cons: Being a petite woman, this mouse was incredibly small for my hands, and I am ending up giving it to someone else and just going to go out and buy a new one from a store. And it would have been nice to know that it didn't come with the dongle. Also, the instructions could have been clearer.
Summary: It really was a great device--however if anything is designed or targeted for compact or travel use, it must take harsher use conditions into consideration. I'm not asking for a bullet proof mouse, but I've dropped a Dell BT mouse from twice the distance onto cement flooring and it still functions perfectly.
Pros: Excellent response, pairing was simple once I got my BT stack on Win 7 SP1 up to date with the latest Dell drivers. Feels great, overall I loved this mouse.
Cons: A two foot drop as it slipped from my hand while packing it up dislodged the bottom buttons. At that point the mouse was dead and still is even after re-aligning the internals.
Summary: Overall, if you absolutely need a bluetooth mouse I would advise you to look elsewhere for a better model. However, if you could just as easily get by with a wireless usb mouse, then definitely go about purchasing one of those. I would highly recommend the gigabyte wireless usb mice similar to this one in shape and features. They are very good and have proven reliable over a few months thus far.
Pros: Great ergonomic design, great DPI for a compact mainstream mouse, nice extra button functionality, and sleek overall look. It moves smoothly on a mousepad surface and feels good whether you grip it or claw it. Also it is easy to set up. Got it working just fine in Mac OSX 10.6.5 and linux mint with 2.6.36 kernel. In both cases I was using a third party bluetooth receiver.
Cons: Basically is non-functional after 2 months. Constantly drops signal so as to render it practically useless. This behavior was observed even with a fresh set of batteries. It also ate the first set of factory supplied batteries in about a month-not optimal at all. Also the response of this or any mainstream bluetooth mouse is a bit laggy in my opinion. You certainly could not use this for gaming. It seems as if the polling rate is set quite low-this probably has more t...
Summary: I have yet to see if GIGABYTE will replace it, I'm somewhat doubtful. Bought a Logitech M310 at SprawlMart for $25, lost a USB port... Gained a reliable mouse.
Pros: Dpi button is pretty cool, not having a usb port taken is even better.
Cons: After a short period of inactivity the mouse goes into "sleep mode." When waking it up there is a serious delay. Had to switch on and off constantly to get it to reconnect. Mouse stopped working after 6 weeks of mild use 2-3 hours per day. Blue light flashed indefinitely... device would not pair.... after several power cycles, nothing.
Pros: VERY low power consumption, it amazes me cuz the lazer looks like it's not even on and it works just like a normal lazer mouse.
Cons: It comes with installation instructions for windows xp and not windows 7. I can't figure out why the mouse keeps failing to connect to my usb bluetooth dongle. I have to enable the service "Driver for mouse, keyboard, etc.." for it to work. After i DO get it to work, after the mouse goes idle for a few minutes, it disconnects from the pc and it wont reconnect at all, i have to disconnect it in the bluetooth settings and start over every time i need to use it.
