gigabyte let me down

Gare C., Newegg
22 April 2015
  • Summary: We met with a little success by turning it off , then closing the Chromebook lid. Then when opening the Chromebook, then turning mouse back on. It would still drop in middle of reasonable use. Am sad to see Gigabyte not work . We had several of an earlier wireless model and loved them.
  • Pros: comes in pretty plastic case.
  • Cons: - would not stay paired to our Chromebook - seemed to sleep and not wake up.

BUYER BEWARE!

Tiffany M., Newegg
23 March 2015
  • Summary: I should have known something was up when I first bought this mouse and it look used right out of the packaging. I returned it and got another - same issue, mouse had noticeable scrapes on the underside and visible wear, however, was "new" in packaging so I kept it due to compact size.
  • Pros: Compact, accurate laser sensor.
  • Cons: Support is terrible from this Taiwan-based company. Customer Service rep was rude. No way to purchase USB dongle separately. If it breaks you now have a useless mouse.

2 Of These Quit Working

Anonymous, Newegg
2 December 2014
  • Summary: I'd recommend avoiding these. They are not reliable.
  • Pros: When I first got these, they connected easily and worked great. The battery life was decent.
  • Cons: Suddenly stopped working one day, no matter what computer I tried to connect it to. This happened on 2 different devices.

NOT STANDARD SIZE!

Mr. A., Newegg
21 November 2014
  • Summary: Wasted money.
  • Pros: I have nothing good to say about this mouse and feel like I have been taken advantage of.
  • Cons: This is not a standard size mouse... would be perfect for a child, little person or some dwarven character from Lord of the Rings.

Stopped working

Michael G., Newegg
1 October 2014
  • Pros: none
  • Cons: It worked for a little more than a month and now it constantly (i.e. every ten seconds) needs to be reset in order to connect to my computer. DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE!

DEAD MOUSE TWICE

Dennis Rezabek, Amazon
29 September 2014
  • Summary: I bought this mouse in February 2014. I had intermittent issues and replaced my Bluetooth dongle which helped. I was replacing batteries every 3 weeks until in August this mouse died. I returned the dead mouse to the factory which replaced it in 7 days. It's been 1 month now and the mouse is dead.

WARNING: does not work in Windows 8.1, need to rollback driver

Templar, Amazon
26 July 2014
  • Summary: This mouse was working fine when I was using Windows 8. But when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 it started freezing every few minutes, the only way to reset it was to turn it off and turn it back on -- inconvenient to say the least.

Don't bother

Paul Jensen, Amazon
26 February 2014
  • Summary: Mouse worked great for 7 months. Suddenly quit connecting to my tablet. Have tried new batteries, reloading driver, and deleting device and re-pairing. It's dead. Can't find what the warranty is for it, but it died while I was traveling, so was very inconvenient.
