Pros: This mouse is by far the best mouse i ordered in 17 yrs! and i have ordered 100s for me and clients. So what can you say for 30 shipped other then it's amazing with 6000 dpi laser and as good if not better then the few $100+ mouse(s) i got many times. Don't think.. just buy it! if you want a super goood mouse for crazy cheap price.
Pros: I bought this mouse as a replacement for the now unavailable MX518. It does the job admirably. It feels very smooth and works as well for twitch FPS gaming as it does for general desktop and image editing tasks. The mouse is light, but it does not feel flimsy and so far the rubber coatings have held up without wear. It slides very well on most surfaces I've tried. Quite a full featured mouse for the low price.
Cons: The only downside to this mouse is the annoyingly bright LEDs that constantly blinks in an attention grabbing manner. The software drivers that come with the mouse do not work on linux. So if you're a linux user you'll not be able to turn off the blinking LEDs short of physically taking the mouse apart and cutting the wires. I think I'll have to do that soon.
Summary: -I use the mouse-wheel (pressing it in) as an in-game bind for WoW and Counter-Strike. When first getting used to it, it seems odd because as I click it in I'm also using the side-scroll buttons. In windows it got annoying, but I've gotten used to this. The reason is because the mouse is slightly skewed to the side. Seriously, look at the images. It's barely tilted to the right. (Or maybe the wheel's just a tad bigger on one side.
Pros: Previous mice owned: Death Adder (2011?), MX518, G400, Sensei.
Cons: -The forward and back button is a bit odd to me, like I have to over-reach for it in order to get it, but again, I have very small hands. This is a con to me, but not worth dropping an egg. The only mouse I felt comfortable with the forward and back buttons were the mx518, the g400, and I'm sure any mouse logitech made to fit the same button size and mouse shape.
Pros: this is the absolute best fps gaming mouse on the market today as I originally bought the new 2013 edition razer death adder and returned it in favor of this and the smoothness and the accuracy of this gigabyte m6980x is unmatched by anything else I have ever used or tried I am not playing this mouse feels like its on auto aim when playing crysis 3 as I cant miss a headshot for nothing yet its so smooth and has a 1ms response time and up to 6,000 dpi if needed and als...
Cons: the cord isnt braided but thats the only con and I mean the only con but it doesn't affect the super high quality of this mouse in anyway
Pros: Upon arrival I was excited about getting a new toy and testing it out like I am with every order from Newegg. Checked out the box, and like all other Gigabyte products I have purchased, it was very well packed and protected. Came in a neat little clam-shell carrying case. The case has foam padding all through with a hole cut out for the mouse. Nice little addition if you ask me. It'll work well for when I take my gaming on the road.
Cons: When I first got it out of the box I thought the ghost profile button was broke. Talk about GRRR! After some messing around I found out that it is hard to press with your finger and sometimes sticks. Using your fingernail to press on the bottom left side of the button makes it work. I'm guessing they either did that to evade accidental presses during gameplay, or maybe I just got a dud. Nothing worthy of an RMA. It would be nice if there were easy access screws on the...
Pros: The mouse itself is very comfortable with a contour that fits my hand very well. I like how it slants to the right. I do not think I would recommend this to left-handed people though. Well weighted. Texture is spot on.
Pros: I have owned a number of mouse over the years, and I like this one the best. It has a comfortable feel and is not too light. You can change the LED light from blue, red, and green by a simple push of the button on the top of the mouse. You can also change the DPI settings the same way. It works great for everyday use and gaming.
