Summary: I know people go nuts for the Wacom tablets, but my husband and I both own Genius tablets and we love them. They're a fraction of the price and they work great. I've never had an issue with either tablet. The only downside is that on the newer model the buttons are really flat and hard to feel without looking, but you can adapt to it. No bells and whistles on this tablet, but it's excellent even for people like us who do digital art for a living.
Summary: The sensitivity is pretty good, and the pieces seems quite durable. I think this is perfect to introductory-mid level digital artists. It requires batteries in order for the mouse and the pen to work (AAA batteries are included), but I use them with other rechargeable Ni-MH batteries anyway, so I had no problem regarding this issue.
Summary: I have taken up drawing as a hobby, and wanted to 'go digital'. This tablet is great- it was super easy to install, the hot keys are a definite plus, and it has the perfect amount of space to work with!! It works great, and the only small complaint I have is that the plastic covering above the working area peels off when I drag my hand across it. I'm a huge hand dragger.
Summary: I'm a total newbie to pen and tablet products, so I did a LOT of research to see what was out there, and I wanted something under $100 since it was my first purchase. After reading all the reviews on Amazon and also on Cnet, I chose this one, and I'm very happy with my choice. Like everyone else has mentioned, the batteries arrive DOA for some reason, so I had to put in fresh batteries before the pen or mouse would work, but that's my only complaint.
Summary: I'm not a professional. I was looking for a tablet just to play with and to learn how to draw. The Wacom products are great but the price is too high for a layman. This tablet can satisfy all my needs and the price is affordable. I tried it several times and I really love it. It works well with my Windows 7 system.
Summary: I bought this graphics pad as a replacement for a Wacom Bamboo my daughter has used for a couple of years, but managed to break. My only concern so far is that it is final exam time at college and from my daughter's Facebook comments on how much she is loving it, she may not be studying enough! So far it is working very well.
Summary: This tablet is something that i didnt have great expectations for. Once I opened it, the first thing i did was check the mouse and pen to see if the other reviews were accurate about their description. They were right, the pen feels a bit on the cheap side and the mouse i didnt even bother with because the look just threw me off. The pen and the mouse need AAA batteries but that wasnt a problem since the box already had 3 batteries packed inside.
Summary: well, i am a manga artist and i have been wanting to go "digital" with a tablet and what not, but some of the prices are ludicrous! so i was a bit skeptical about trying out this item because it is so cheap compared to most other ones. i have had it now for about a week and i am very pleased with it! it works very smooth... maybe its because i haven't tried a fancy wacom tablet but this is what i thought a tablet was.
