Nice tablet, Pen is to thick

Jason T., Newegg
5 December 2008
  • Summary: For the bargain price I got this for during the holiday sales I feel like I got a steal. But I can't see myself ever paying the full price for this although it is still a good value when you realize the amount of drawing area you have, I just wish the pen was thinner and then I would have given it...
  • Pros: This tablet is pretty nice. Very large area, more than enough room, I actually perfer the smaller standard setting it has over the widescreen b/c I have a standard lcd. Tons of macro buttons 34 to be exact, nice to just be able to click on a button to "undo" or whatever you want. The scroll butto...
  • Cons: The pen is a pretty big con to me. It's double the average pen size. It has a AAA battery in it. No eraser either. First Tablet

Tedford W., Newegg

  • Pros: The tablet's area roughly equates the size and aspect ratio of my Macbook screen. It's responsive and didn't take long to get used to. The tablet looks incredible sitting on my desk. The little wheels are pretty handy to zoom/scroll.
  • Cons: I run this on a Macbook with Leopard. The company included software to configure the tablet but when you log off or restart, for some stupid reason it doesn't remember what you set it to, so you have to reconfigure it everytime! The "F" shortcuts (which are labeled as "F" in the program but "K" o...

User Review

Ramla F., Newegg
10 May 2008
  • Summary: Reasonable good for even pros and amateurs alike.
  • Pros: Large size, wide and standard screen modes, works well with vista (no driver needed), 34 Hot-Keys, scrolling, zooming and volume hardware keys and knobs. Works with well artrage, photoshop pressure sensitivity. Good value per dollar.
  • Cons: Larger pen, no eraser, cheapish usb cord.
