GEAR HEAD OM

MikeV, Mwave.com
8 September 2011
  • Summary: I have purchased cheap laptop mice before and they were just that, cheap. This GEAR HEAD is a great value. Does not feel cheap!
  • Pros: Wow! Very nice design and feel to this mouse. Very accurate with good tracking.
  • Cons: Uses 2 AAA batteries. I prefer AA. But thats not enough to take away the 5 star rating.

  • Summary: There are so many wireless products available, so it's easy to believe performance and quality are standard. I couldn't be more incorrect with my assumption. The device failed numerous times requiring re-loading the dsb port. It also goes into power saver within 10 seconds which requires a left click touch...

Great product for a great price

  • Summary: I had no problems with this mouse. Install the batteries and plug it in to the USB port it couldn't have been any easier. It comes with an extention cable which is great if your USB port is tucked away under the desk or something. I take it with me all the time when I'm in the field. I can plug it into any PC I'm working on and I have the freedom of a cordless mouse without the hassle of installing drivers and disabling the clients mouse etc.
