Summary: If you're simply looking for a mouse that gets the job done (pointing, scrolling, clicking), this one is it. It's not some top class mouse, but it is quite reliable. It has lasted 6+ years, until now it's starting to die on me. Would recommend if you're looking for a cheap mouse.
Summary: It performs well as computer mouses go. This mouse is the same model and style as my previous mouse. A couple of noticeable differences is that connecting wire is thinner than the one on my previous mouse, which is no big deal I guess, but to my surprise it is also about 5-6 inches shorter in length. That 5-6 inches may not seem like a whole lot, but that slight extra wire length provided some useful slack.
Summary: Finally broke old Dell mouse after 6 years of abuse. Bought a wireless one and there was such a lag that I couldn't stand using it and returned it. Did a search for my original Dell mouse and ordered instantly So glad I did because I could not function with any other mouse.
Summary: I wanted a cheap, simple mouse for my 2nd laptop that never seems to work with wireless mice. This is just what I wanted. Just plug in and it's ready to go. You might want something with more weight or ergonomic design if you do any serious work on your computer, as I can tell this is the most basic of design. Does fine for my basic clicking needs on the go.
Summary: When you move the mouse around on your desk the pointer on your screen moves. Left and Right buttons and scroll wheel work as advertised. It has a long cord, so not the best travel mouse, but great for the office.
Summary: I have a Dell Dimension computer, and I have found with Dell computers, it is best to buy Dell accessories, such as this mouse. My generic mouse would work in most applications, but the Dell mouse worked better (same with a Dell keyboard). So, with Dell computers, it is best to go with all Dell accessories as well.
