Summary: I have an all new build that i spent over 9 grand on in total, and i may have gotten lucky or unlucky by having problems with only 2 things; my raid card and this mouse. My problems with this mouse include the battery dying in the middle of games of league of legends or really any online game. As well as the battery not making proper connection (thats my guess because removing and putting the battery back in fixes it.) and not powering the laser to actually work.
Pros: great feel, great customizability, nice buttons
Cons: no spot to see battery life other than in driver, random issues.
Summary: The RAT 9 is definitely on the costly side for a mice. However I feel that the investement is worth it as it will be a long time from this one to the next one and I will probably purchase this model again. The thumbwheel makes volume adjustment very quickly so I don't even have to use the keyboard shortcuts during gameplay. The customization on the RAT 9 is amazing and fits well to my big hands and the wireless functionality is great.
Pros: Very adjustable especially for my big hands, Really glidy and good weight customization, thumb will very conveniant for volume control, easily set different dpi settings for different purposes and fast switching in between with the middle button, wireless is very clean, makes my desk look a lot tidier, 2 batteries for continuous play
Cons: Sometimes the vertical or horizontal axis fail for short times probably some kind of lag between the mouse and the wireless reciever
Summary: I have had some trouble with the batteries falling asleep or something so I have to take it out and put it back in. this only happens when i leave it without use for a couple hours. though it only takes a 10 second in and out to get it back to work. all in all if you want a mouse that feels great in your hand and will last forever get this!
Pros: Extreme combustibility, really comfortable to use, long battery life (and has 2 batteries so you always have power), really durable, everything works as advertised
Cons: fiddly battery (I explain in the description)
Summary: I've had this mouse for quite some time now and I have had no complaints. Every now and then it seems that a spec of dust or a small crumb will prevent it from functioning, but nothing a quick wipe won't fix. This mouse can also hold 3 profiles which seems like it can come in handy if you need macros. This mouse allows for weights to be added or removed as well which, surprisingly, can change the whole experience of the mouse.
Summary: So I purchased this mouse about 8 months ago. Since then I've really put it through a lot of gaming hours (why I bought this one). It's held up great for the most part. Absolutely love the quick dps change button. Allows to easily change the sensitivity say when you go from being on foot to jumping in a tank. My only concern is that about 3 months ago it would randomly click the left mouse button when I wasn't pressing it.
Summary: The Cyborg Rat 5 mouse is stunning. By far the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure of using. Even the packaging says quality and perfection. The only drawback I can see anyone having is its size. For me it's perfect, but if you happen to have very small hands you may want to rethink this choice. If you're considering this mouse, just go ahead and get it. You will not regret the decision.
Summary: Was using Logitech G9 before i got this mouse. I was surprised how similar the mouse were to each other. But the one feature that really stuck out to me is the precision aim button, which is very helpful in fps games. The item was shipped fast. Completely satisfied.
Summary: So I got this as a gift for my last birthday 17 months ago. It still works! Fully customizable. I'm a hardcore gamer (too much time spent on games..mainly LoL and SC2). I have a recurring injury between my index and middle finger, and I find that the wide buttons of this mouse can sometimes aggravate this over a few hours of play but this is due to my own stupidness. Now the reason I'm writing this review is because this mouse has yet to let me down.
Summary: I use this mouse for some graphic design projects in addition to gaming. There are plenty of reviews about its comfort, usability, the software, etc... I have one major problem: After a little while, the mouse starts seizing up in the middle of the screen for no reason. I've updated & rolled back the drivers, upgraded & downgraded software. The problem persisted even through a complete restore of the computer.
Summary: Let me begin by saying that this review is for the R.A.T 5 not the other models of this device. I bought this mouse to replace an outdated HP mouse after building a new gaming PC recently. The biggest problem with most of the other devices I have used is that they are too smooth on the sides, or that they aren't big enough to keep my hands from cramping when I have to hold down one of the face buttons. That's why the R.A.T 5 was so appealing in the first place.
