Summary: I've got 2 G5s and, with the bloated software Logitech is putting out lately that includes every device under the sun, I wanted a mouse that would fit the same in my hand and yet provide me with the ability to assign tasks for all the buttons on the fly. The cyber snipa filled the bill.
Pros: Great value, well constructed, attractive (if you're not an interior decorator type). Easy to install and software driver can either be a generic Microsoft version or the full-blown Cyber Snipa version. Opportunity to program all the buttons available.
Cons: One needs to be a code expert to program the buttons. Assigning tasks to the buttons is no walk in the park. Poor documentation and they could at least have provided an example on the web site to make the process clearer. Frustrating. Will have to try it again in the future.
Summary: If you are looking for a gaming mouse that will not break your bank this is the mouse to get. I did a lot of research before I got this product. I tried every gaming mouse you could find. Do your research if your not sure what to get.
Pros: Bought this mouse to replace my 6 yr old MS wireless mouse. Never had a gaming mouse before, so I didn't know what to expect. Set up the mouse with wieghts that I wanted. Played a few rounds of BF2 and 2142. I noticed %1000 improvement in my reaction time. Mouse is very nice. The on the fly dpi s...
Cons: Not really cons. Cord is a little short. Maybe add another 2ft or so and it'll be ok. The dpi switching button on the top feels a little cheap. I don't use macros, but the software is a little confusing. None of these deter from the performance to cost aspect.
Summary: Excellent FIVE button mouse. What happened to the other buttons? 6) DPI button 7) Macro button 8) Tilt-wheel left 9) Tilt-wheel right NOTE: apart from the DPI button, all buttons CAN be bound to a key/button that doesn't need to be held down. Push to talk, jump, duck, fire, etc. are not possible.
Pros: Most comfortable mouse I've ever owned (experience with MS Explorer series 1 through 3 and the original Logitech wireless laser mouse). Mouse buttons 1 through 5 are all excellent. The ability to add weights so the mouse fits your style is actually useful (I actually spent 20 minutes dragging the...
Cons: 1) The factory default makes mouse buttons 4 and 5 unbindable in-game. You have to manually disable macro mode in the software. 2) The macro button is useless too. Since the software cannot handle direct binds. That is: normally you push a button down, hold it, then release it. But the software r...
Summary: First off, INCREDIBLE mouse. I have bought Logitech MX518's for the past few years. When I recently built a new gaming rig. I started looking at the Logitech G9 gaming mouse. I glanced at the Cyber Snipa Stinger, and almost thought at first it was a El'cheapO mouse. Man, was I dead wrong.
Pros: +Comfort +Accurate +Fits hand perfect +Feels solid +Price +Customer support +Makes games more fun to play
Summary: It would be nice if they added some more colors, like blue or green. As mentioned below the right side of the mouse is a bit on the short end, but if you don't mind doubling up this is the perfect mouse for you.
Pros: This mouse is very well thought out, the red cors helps me a ton when I'm fumbling around back there. It has a nice feel due to the good shape, the rubberized sides, weight system, and nice BIG Teflon pads under it. I have just found myself a new favorite mouse.
Summary: Coming from the Fatl1ty mouse (whose right-click stopped working and whose rubberized sides wore through) this is a big improvement. For the same price I've got a much better and obviously more well thought out product. The USB cable on this one is also nice and long.
Pros: Don't let the cheesy name fool you - this is a great mouse. It comes with 7 weights and replacement feet (never gotten those before!). The red USB cable is handy when you're messing around with the pile of USB cables you've got - you always know the red one is your mouse! 3200 dpi is fantastic an...
Cons: It'd be nice if the right-hand side of the mouse were just a bit taller. I kind of have to double up my pinky and ring finger. It doesn't affect game play, but it takes a little bit to get used to it.
Pros: This mouse is amazing. I have the all my macros set for all my games, COD4, Crysis, Team Fortress 2. Thats right, 3 Macro Profiles! I have it set on 3200dpi and just put my mouse sensitivity on my games relatively low, and it is perfectly smooth.
