Summary: Seems Logitech knows they did a poor job on the painting so, after only 2 weeks normal office use, try to clean the mouse's palm rest area with a napkin, and guess what, the silver painting comes off and the white plastic shows. :( Talked to Logitech support and descibed it to them, they said "Oh, you don't like that?" and then told me "the paint is not warranted". I guess because it's cosmetic, but only after 2 weeks? Sounds too soon to me.
Summary: I've bought two Logitech wireless mice as well as their wired mice. In all cases their software drivers on both Mac and Windows have not been able to slow down the cursor movement to a practical speed. It would overshoot due to moving too fast even on the slowest speeds. Finally they came out with some software to nearly completely fix the speed control problem for the older non-wheel mice.
Summary: This is the MOST ergonimcally unfriendly mouse I have ever used. After using it for just 5 or 6 minutes, I have to shake the cramps out of my hand. It would be a great mouse if it were designed a little better ... but it is literally painful to use!
Summary: I purchased this mouse so I could do away with both the wires from the mouse that constantly become tangled and the annoyance of using a mouse pad. After I set up the mouse, which was quite simple, I found the mouse did not work. I called several friends of mine who had purchased this mouse to see if they could help me in discovering why it was not working. I learned that you must use this mouse on a desk top that has a light colored surface.
Summary: I picked up one of these mice awhile back. I had been eyeing both cordless and optical mice for some time, but had been unable to decide which to buy. When I saw this in the store I bought it immediately, thrilled that my dilemma had been solved. A week later I had returned it, very disappointed. As good as this mouse is for regular computer usage (browsing the web, getting around in Windows), it is definitely not a gamer's mouse.
Summary: The drivers for this sleek and comfortable mouse lack tremendously. In the past couple of months, I have constantly lost one or another function of the mouse at random. After updating the drivers many times and after reinstalling them I achieve full function but only for a short time. Now the question is why buy this mouse if you can't make use of all the functions?!
Summary: I've bought this product and despite of its amazing resources that make ordinary tasks so much easiers, the batteries discharge is simply unbearable! I don't know if it's a problem of this specific device, but the post selling service of Logitech or its online support should be considered before shopping such products.
Summary: This mouse has a nice shape and conveniently placed thumb button. The RF cordless ability is great (I hate mouse cords!). I drool at the possibility of a cordless, optical mouse. The wheel doesn't have as nice a feel (when rotating) as the MS mice, though. However, while I like the mouse hardware itself, the drivers for Windows 2000 are horrible.
