Would be nice if it worked
Patricia M., Newegg
3 April 2015
Summary: I used this mouse for... oh about a month before the left click button stopped returning when clicked. Click turned into click and drag = RMA'ed the mouse. it came back, and seems they simply swapped the insert that makes the button return from the left click to the right click, because within an...
Pros: nice profile switching feature, good dpi, good response, feels pretty good in my hand.
Cons: buttons fail quickly, the rubberized coating rubs off quickly, the profile button is easy to hit accidentally.
Summary: I used it before leaving the house, left for 4 hours, and came back home to a pointer that would respond when the buttons are pressed, but the pointer would not move. Spent time trying to find if it was a corrupt driver, ended up plugging in an old mouse and it worked fine.
Pros: It was a good mouse while it lasted.
Cons: the button placement did not feel natural to me while gaming. But the biggest issue is that the laser on the mouse just died for no reason.
Summary: In all honesty i'm giving this a one egg because it came to me pretty messed up from opening the box. The mouse itself is a very good one and I am sure of that because I bought this same mouse for a friend and it is his favorite mouse and for sure winner.
Pros: This is easy to say that this is a awesome mouse really made for gaming but...
Cons: it came defective. The laser is off so it makes the mouse jumps around the screen from time to time even though it has twin laser's. The numbers on the side of the mouse that tell you which number setting you're on for dpi is completely dead, none of the numbers light up. Last but not least the r...
Summary: Thought this was a quality product. I have owned it for 5 months & the right click just gave out. It has laid flat & no more elevation. It was barely even used meaning not enough game play to have this feature malfunction.
Summary: I got this mouse to replace my old mouse that is starting to go bad, and within 3 matches I have already plugged my old mouse in and RMA'd this. I'm starting to think that until there is direct support through the OS and applications for a mouse with more than 5 buttons (instead of relying on macros...
Pros: Decent button placement. Large scroll wheel. No tilt wheel (plus for me as few applications support it). The biggest pro is that Newegg's RMA service is so great.
Cons: Middle mouse is a bit stiff. Software looks like it's still in beta (bit confusing, ghost characters, etc.). Mouse sensitivity changed drastically between applications without changing any settings on the driver or the mouse, in general it was too low in Windows and too high in games. Not sure if...
Summary: Don't be fooled by the nice responses here on Newegg.... There is absolutely NO and let me say it again NO reason that a mouse should have to be trouble shooted. When we buy a mouse it should plug in, be detected, drivers should be updated when when we install the software.
Summary: Overall I thought it was a good product if I could have straightened out the issue with it not working when the computer starts up I would have been happy to keep it.
Pros: Great features, loved all the buttons. The macro's and script's were pretty great.
Cons: I had the issue that many people apparently have with this mouse. When you start up your pc 7/10 times you can't move your mouse pointer. I contacted CM's customer support and they did a great job trying to help me. Their end solution was for me to pay shipping charges to send it to them. And the...
Pros: Nice weight. Like the profiles as I stated in my last review.
Cons: Now the bad part. Mouse pointer moves on it's own. I have held the mouse down and watched it traverse from the top of the screen to the bottom with no mouse movement. If this is indicative of the quality of CM mice I may never buy another.
Cons: Worse decision for a mouse I've ever made. Since day one, mouse will spontaneously not register my left clicks until I cycle through sensitivity or unplug/replug in. Attempted to contact customer support right away and never heard back. Won't buy CM peripherals again, will stick to fans and cases.
