Small, but effective

Eric J., Newegg
31 December 2013
  • Summary: I've owned a logitech mx310, razer deathadder, corsair vengeance, and this mouse. I recently replaced this one with a perixx mx3000 (due to review in the future).
  • Pros: * Small--smaller than your average wallet
  • Cons: * the DPI "up" button is a bit 'mountainous' over the scroll wheel.

Too small for my claw grip!

M. MacMahon, Amazon
12 April 2013
  • Summary: I bought this mouse because many places rated it highly for the claw grip style. Unfortunately despite having what I consider normal hand size, I found this mouse way too small for my claw grip. It feels more like a fingertip grip mouse to me, made to keep the palm completely off the mouse. I did not find this comfortable at all. In addition to the small size I found the build quality to be average at best.

User Review

  • Summary: http://www.cmstorm.com/forum/showthread.php?2949-Spawn-Ventrillo-Skype-Mumble-Compatibility-bug Its unfortunate.. until this started happening to me it was my favourite mouse. This renders it unusable on 90% of Windows 7 computers. The cm progammers are apparently working on a fix, but its taken more than a year. If it werent for this bug Id give this mouse a 5, however at the moment its just trash on my shelf. Recommend only for people not using internet voice clients.
  • Pros: Great feel, highly responsive, looks good, etc.
  • Cons: Mouse bugs when voip (such as skype, mumble, ventrillo. ts, etc) software is open.

Careful the serial number does not rub off!

Daniel Rogers, Amazon
22 May 2012
  • Summary: 4 star Overall I love this mouse, all the positive things in other reviews are true. If you like claw style mouses, then this is a bargain. - 1 star Durability proved to be an issue. However, at about the 3 month mark one of my DPI switches broke. I was then stuck in the lowest setting. When I went to check my warranty online I noticed that the serial number on the bottom of the mouse had partially rubbed off.
