Summary: The only reason I chose this mouse was because of the white LED (to match my Logitech keyboard's white back-light. At rest, the light is underwhelming. This is not a particularly precise mouse; fairly generic in that regard, but good enough for general use.
Pros: Easy to grip rubber side pieces. General shape is comfortable.
Cons: White LED is very dim if the mouse is stationary, but brightens with the slightest movement. This brightness is instantaneous both on and off and is more annoying than pleasant or functional. I wish it just stayed bright (which is just bright enough). I actually thought I had a bad connection of some sort when I first used it because of the bright-dim function.
Summary: Replacing a wireless mouse that went flaky. - skipped and froze in spite of various fixes. Tried an older "gaming" USB mouse and still found the tracking slow and awkward, even after adjusting in software. Right out of the box, the Cherry mouse is very quick to move, very easy to place the cursor. SO pleased with the quality, and it was a bargain. Wish I'd had this 2 mice ago.
Pros: Mouse is very quick, very smooth, easy to control.
Pros: Interesting design, bought it on impulse to match the cherry keyboard I purchased. The white light effect is nice and subtle and the mouse is responsive. Feels solid and the curve fits my hands nicely.
Cons: Piece of rubber on the side was sticking out a hair. Pushed it with my fingure nail and its fine.
Summary: So far, I'd have to say that this is the best mouse I've ever used. It does everything well that a 3-button mouse should do. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a comfortable, highly responsive, cool-looking mouse!
Pros: Smoooooth action; highly responsive buttons; cool lights (white); comfortable in the hand; easy to grip; not-loud clicks.
Pros: I love the entire design of this mouse from the inside out, it's like holding a glowing ball of light when you use it for everyday activities. Delivery through UPS was also on-time, so good job Newegg and UPS! In addition, if you don't want to spend too much on a gaming mouse, give this a try! :)
Cons: The color of my mouse's base illumination color is also white instead of an advertised blue. Even the box itself showed a picture of the mouse's blue base color, but the mouse inside was a white base. Cherry needs to do a better job of advertising their line of keyboards, mice, and any other Gentix-related products when it comes to people that want to choose white or blue as their base illumination color, because that's not good.
Pros: This is a really nice mouse for under $20. The lighting on the mouse is silver colored, very classy. The construction is solid with rubber sides and large surface pieces. The additional DPI resolution is a good feature, so I suspect that the optical module itself is an upgrade from an 800 DPI. The thumbwheel feels solid in the mouse housing and I like the see-through lighting there as well. Cherry products seem to be quality stuff. I bought a keyboard from them as well..
Summary: All around if you do not want a gaming mouse and you want a wired illuminated mouse this is you best bet. The lights are not blue.... just wanted be like all the other reviews and say that :) It white light matches my 2 logitech illuminated Keyboards. I am happy with it.
Pros: Just got this mouse today, so far I've used it a few hours and I have no complaints.... It's a mouse.... it moves fluidly and you click things.... feels weird but nothing I can't get used too. I like it so much I just ordered a 2nd for my other PC.
Cons: I have noticed that while using the scroller the Light flickers a little but it stays nice and bright. Clicks are loud.
Summary: I bought this mouse to replace the old one I had that came along with my Dell computer. I had the money to spare and bought it solely on it's looks. It's 1000 DPI is very smooth compared to my other Dell mouse, and I like the way it handles. My only two complaints with this mouse is that it's not very bright and it doesn't feel all that good in your hands. My pinky struggles to find a good spot to rest in without getting uncomfortable. Overall it's a good mouse though.
Pros: Lightweight, looks nice, very smooth.
Cons: Very dim, it's not very bright at all even when lit up in a dark room, doesn't feel all that comfortable.
Summary: I don't think I'll ever shop anywhere else anymore.
Pros: I just became Newgg's #1 fan. For the problem mentioned in the previous post, I opened an RMA. Unfortunately, the return shipping would have cost $9.00. I called there customer service, attempting to get the cost of shipping as well. Newegg would not give me return shipping. Instead, they told me to keep the mouse, and they would refund the entire purchase price! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I have heard the reviews about Newegg's custom service, ...
Cons: I didn't hear about Newegg sooner. I could only give them 5 eggs =(.
