Summary: Normally at this point we would take a look at the included software bundle, but there is no software for the M571 - it's truly plug and play. This is nice in that you don't have to spend time configuring the software and setting up a ton of macro buttons, but also a bit restrictive in that you can't fine-tune the mouse to your exact liking. For example, you are stuck with the preset DPI settings and button mapping that Arctic Cooling has selected for you.
Conclusion: Final words. If you're after a low cost, budget gaming laser mouse that offers decent DPI settings that come with a weighted system, then the Arctic Cooling M571 Gaming Laser Mouse is worth considering. It's a good alternative to the standard mouse. As for professional gamers who are after more features, such as programmable buttons ... you might want to look elsewhere.
The Arctic Cooling Arctic M571 is a solid mouse and very comfortable with the exception of the one issue I noticed with the scroll wheel. It is one of the most comfortable mice I have used, ranking up there with much more expensive ones form Logitech, Microsoft, and others. Unfortunately the scroll wheel issue is a major problem.
Summary: The Arctic M571 gaming mouse is a great entry level mouse for gamers. With the ability to set your preferred weight and with a conveniently located rapid fire button, gamers and enthusiasts will not be disappointed. The distinct curve and shape of the mouse's body should also keep your hand comfortable after hours of game play.
As mentioned with the M551, at the highest DPI setting the Arctic M571 is very sensitive... almost too sensitive.
Pros: » Ergonomic, » Extra Double click / continuous shoot button, » No drivers needed for install / Plug and Play, » Price is reasonable for a gaming mouse
Cons: » High DPI setting can be difficult to work with, » Only made for a right handed person, » Not available for purchase in the US
Conclusion: Snålheten bedrar visheten heter det.
