Summary: Had a Sandisk card forever and never had any problems but when it came time to get an extra I thought I would save a few dollars...bad idea. When I first got the card everything seemed fine, until I had about 1000 pictures on it and went to transfer them to my computer.
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: Locks up camera, corrupts huge batches of pictures. All around bad purchase.
Pros: Good price for a basic memory card. The speed is fast enough for any point and shoot. Basic (non-HD video) recording was fine with no buffering lag.
Cons: These are not high capacity, or super fast, but given the price when they are on sale, this is a non-issue. If you need something bigger, or faster for HD video, then spend a little more money. This memory card is for basic pictures and video only.
Summary: Tried reformating using the utility on Transcend web site, and it always fails. Tried different readers: same result. Even if I could format it, why risk losing more pictures. I have Sony memory sticks that are over 10 years old and SanDisk that are 7-8 y/o that still work, but Transcend can make...
Pros: Included reader Fast enough to record HD on my camera
Cons: Died after 10 months, used maybe 20-30 time Card died while unloading picture to PC, taking everything with it.
