Terrible

Zachary B., Newegg
5 March 2012
  • Pros: Nice Class 6 Write Speed.
  • Cons: Worked for 3 days, then became corrupt. After reformatting it, it would only work for about 3 minutes at a time when plugged into a device.

Choppy write speeds

Gregory G., Newegg
7 January 2012
  • Summary: The average write speeds are around 10MB/s , but the write speed briefly dips well below 4MB/s every few seconds. This was verfied by using speed test utilities which monitor instantaneous (not just average) performance. Other SD cards I have tested do not exhibit this problem.
  • Pros: It's inexpensive and has good average write speeds
  • Cons: Write speeds are choppy - which is not good when recording video. Recorded video ends up missing frames every few seconds.

Real world problems

Jack L., Newegg
15 November 2011
  • Pros: High performance/cost ratio (when on sale).
  • Cons: I've had 2 out of 4 completely fail. RMA from Transcend was rather painless, but I'm not impressed with the long-term reliability of this card.

Thomas C., Newegg
28 September 2011
  • Pros: Worked Great until just this morning. Fast speeds especially for a class6, was reliable and gave me no problems until this happened
  • Cons: This morning after mandatory update to Droid X the phone rebooted and the card could no longer be read by anything. I have tried in 2 different phones, and even an SD Card reader on my computer.

Flaky

Nicholas S., Newegg
25 August 2011
  • Summary: Bought ADATA, and no problems what so ever. I will never buy Transcend again, they're a joke when anything happens, they just make up excuses so they don't have to pay
  • Pros: Cheap, fast when it works
  • Cons: I've bought a total of three over the past 2 years, and they all have died. The only thing I used them for was in my phones for music. They work find and then just randomly stop working. I thought at first it was my phone, so I sent it in, but nope, its the sdcard. I've tried to do an RMA but I a...

Ok for a camera but not for MotoDefy

Jorg G., Newegg
27 June 2011
  • Summary: I tossed the packing for it when I got it so I can't return it. I'll just use the the adapter and plug it into my digital camera since it makes my cell phone unstable.
  • Pros: Fast NEWEGG shipping as usual, I gave it 2 stars because I can still use it for my digital camera.. I really purchased it for my cellphone but that didnt work well.
  • Cons: This microSD isnt stable for Motorola Defy, my old Sandisk and new Patriot 16gb I just got from newegg worked fine.

8 January 2009
  • Summary: Complete junk. My phone and computer don't see it. My computer pops up with an I/O error. Their tech support doesn't return calls and their website is acting up so I don't know if their tech support is getting my online requests.

Von zwei Karten war eine defekt

HoiB3rgA, Amazon
6 August 2013
