Great Capacity

FL Shooter, B&H Photo
24 February 2015
  • Excerpt: Use this in my Sony HVR-MRC1 to capture video digitally with an older Sony HVR-V1U HDV tape based camera. I get great storage capacity with this however, this is my second one - replacing the first one due to failure after only a few uses.

Not fast enough for Nikon D800

EMES, B&H Photo
21 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I have been using this card with Nikon D800 for 3 month and it does the job, but every 50-100 shots my D800 "freezes" while writing onto the card for 15-30 seconds. You can take more pictures while the camera is busy writing, but you can't review them until it finishes and that is very annoying.

Will not work with a D300

Alex M., Newegg
25 February 2011
  • Summary: Sigh! I was waiting for this card and ended up with a "Card Full" error on an empty card. Browsed the web for similar experiences and found out that the D300 will take cards to a maximum size of 32GB. Hoping that a future Nikon firmware update might take care of this problem, but it seems unlikely.
  • Pros: Its probably a very good card
  • Cons: Will not work with a D300. D300 takes 32GB max.

OK, But Issues with D700

Steven W., Newegg
4 October 2010
  • Summary: I was surprised how fast the camera worked with my old 16GB Sandisk Extreme III cards after using this card. Wish I had known about the issues before purchase. Good enough for my needs, but just barely.
  • Pros: Large capacity at a reasonable price. Fast read and write speeds. Good performance while taking pictures, even in continuous high speed mode. Fast download to computer.
  • Cons: Significantly slow for some important operations on Nikon D700. Very slow to start viewing images (quite a few seconds). Slow response to Info button. Slower camera startup.

Günstig mit Schwächen

ObeyGiant, geizhals.de
4 January 2013

  • Conclusion: Ett billigt kort med mycket plats.
