The Transcend 8GB CF200I is a high-end industrial grade CompactFlash card that uses error correction code (ECC) and global static wear leveling technology, features Transcend’s exclusive Flash Life Guard software which is tool that gives users notification when the card approaches the end of its life cycle.

Features

The CF200I CF card features the Flash Life Guard software which automatically monitors the flash cells in the card and reports when the safety threshold for write/erase cycles is reached. This allows users to manage stored data and avoid the possible risk of unrecoverable data loss. The memory card also adopts ECC and global static wear leveling for optimized protection against uncorrectable errors. The card is optimized for temperature flexibility, shock and vibration resistance, and low power consumption. It is suitable for use in industry-standard PCMCIA-ATA equipped devices, such as industrial PCs, embedded systems, medical instruments, factory automation systems, network infrastructures and other industrial applications. The CF200I Industrial Grade CF cards transfers data using Ultra DMA (UDMA) 4 as default transfer mode, and can also support up to UDMA 5 under customizing request. It has an average read/write speeds of up to 40MB/35MB per second and is available in a capacity of 8GB.
