XQD S series Card

mojofilms, B&H Photo
6 August 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought a PMW-F5, which shoots 180fps. My SBP SxS cards are not fast enough to shoot high speed past 120fps. Rather than spend $ for the pro+ cards, I decided to try these. They work great, transfers speeds are fast and work fine in the usb sony SxS and Sonnet thunderbolt card readers. With the XQD express card adapter and case, I got two of them for under $, less than the price of one pro+ 64gb.
  • Pros: Easy To Use

  • Excerpt: Very nice and fast cards,, I use it with the nikon D4S and it keeps up with the speed of shooting continuous high. 64 gbs is also more than enough space to put it in the camera and forget about it cause it'll more than likely last you throughout the shoot day

Records Beautifully

Rich M, B&H Photo
10 March 2014
  • Excerpt: This card records 4K beautifully. I hope somebody comes out with a bigger GB soon. I can only get 26 minutes from this care at 4K. At the 1080p setting, I get 82 minutes. It will be expensive for the larger GB, but I would be willing to pay it if there becomes such a card.

Who needs SxS Pro+ cards anymore? NOT ME

Captainjman, B&H Photo
26 February 2014
  • Excerpt: One of the biggest and best kept secrets of the SxS Pro+ cards is that you just don't need them anymore. The Sony F5 / F55 demands media that can handle high rates of information. And for those of you who think that 180 mega bits per second isn't fast enough - Look again, that isn't bits... it's BYTES. Thats right, this is a 180 mega Bytes per second card. That means that it's 1.44 Terra Bits of data per second. That is nothing short of phenomenal.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Fast, Less Expensive Cardreader, Lightweight, Lower Price, Reliable
